Eliminate entire Departments (Education, EPA, etc)
Force Congress & Senate to telecommute most of the year. Under the thumb of the electorate in their home district, away from the lobbyists.
Congress is required to meet at least 1 time per year, with no specified length of session. It is simply not necessary for them to be constantly in session.
The Texas Legislature meet every other year, and it seems to work OK. Why not something similar for Congress.
Can you imagine the savings in operating expense and the savings due to fraud prevention (exposure).
This should be part of EVERY states law, and not limited to firearms either. The feds need to be reigned in NOW!

I like the fact that the states are beginning to push back against the Feds, but given the 0bama regime's penchant for ignoring The Constitution and the number of leftist judges, it may be questionable if the states' actions to invoke The Tenth Amendment will be upheld.
If that's the case then it's time for a showdown. Let the courts enforce their decisions...let's see what happens. I don't believe there's a court in the land that has the authority to stand in the way of a State invoking the 10th Amendment. That doesn't mean they won't try.
Unfortunately, that is not in the Presidential Oath of office.

Exactly, back to being a citizen legislature and all law applies to everyone even them. No more ‘Cadillac’ perks etc etc.
For that to work State Government would have to be better than the Feds. I see only similar type in State Governments. These Governments are the result of the same dumbass voters.
That is the awesome part of the law that I didn’t think would appear for some time down the road.
I envisioned a pingpong match of play and counterplay,
with such a clause of “any agent attempting to enforce will be arrested” being quite a few “volleys” down the road.
The next clause that needs to be added is that no court ruling to the contrary will be recognized if said ruling comes from a court not appointed by the governor or elected by citizens of that state.
I fully expect some of the Federal Courts to try to negate the state’s actions. If states do not comply, my guess is that officials will be held in contempt, and possibly Federal Marshals, or the National Guard sent to enforce their orders. This is the way the Civil Rights issues were enforced in the 60’s, and right or wrong, the enforcement nullified the Tenth Amendment.

Corporations have flattened their structures to adapt & survive. Why not government. Most of what is done in DC is of questionable value anyway.

I'm for making their sorry asses meet ONLY outside the Capitol steps, regardless of the weather. They can have a tent, but only when a nor'easter blows through.
In the 60’s the target was just The South, and even stalwarts like George Wallace of Alabama, and Ross Barnett of Mississippi folded. Both were portrayed as a pariah by the rest of the Country, so they stood alone. Also, even unorganized militias would, for the most part, be reluctant to take action against friends and neighbors in the National Guard, who have been “federalized” and believe me, the Feds know this.
