Amen. It isn’t “Obama’s” Socialism. It started under George Bush and it is endorsed by the American people. As of now, the majority of Americans want something for nothing. They want the “rich” to pay for them to continue the party. George Bush was horrible in this respect (spending, entitlements). Obama is just going to be Bush in overdrive.

The term “centrist” is itself a subjective label applied by the leftist media. “Economic justice” as a tax policy is to the far-left dominated media, from their perspective, a “centrist” policy.
I’m still trying to figure out what the far-left media would label as a “left-wing” policy. Failure to apply that label to any policy in itself is prima facie proof of their far-left bias.

Part of the current effort by the collective in printing money, bailing out industry, driving down the economy is to make “the people” as weary of the economy as they have made the people “weary of war.” Weariness destroys your interest and your will to fight. After that, they move in with totalitarianism.
The same people that voted for ‘them’ in 06 and 08 will be begging for fascism within two years, but, of course, they will be rebranding it ‘New Socialism’ or ‘Compassionate Socialism.’
Is that why the ‘successful’ are preparing for ‘economic nuclear winter’?
They would prefer to ‘destroy’ their own wealth before the government ‘redistributes’ it.

I’ve been telling FReepers since the election that we need to do our part to keep the economy slow so that he won’t have the funds to be able to implement the most egregious stuff.
There are too many problems with the whole article or even with just this one sentence to cover them all. By setting the minimum wage at $10, he will price some workers out of a job and force rapid inflation to bring the purchasing power of that $10 down to the market value of the work done by minimum wage workers. Indexing the minimum wage to inflation will prevent the market from correcting for Obama's artificially high wages, leading to stagflation - econgomic stagnation with high inflation. Once you add in forced unionization, the economy will die along with freedom, and we're still nowhere near done with the evil and stupid ideas in the single sentence I quoted.
It will take a miracle from God for our country to survive Obama. [Governor Palin?]
