Amen. It isn’t “Obama’s” Socialism. It started under George Bush and it is endorsed by the American people. As of now, the majority of Americans want something for nothing. They want the “rich” to pay for them to continue the party. George Bush was horrible in this respect (spending, entitlements). Obama is just going to be Bush in overdrive.
No........it’s happening because of the U.S. people who voted for him “allowed” it, or better put, facilitated it along with rich Republicans who voted for him thinking what I’m not sure except perhaps that if they sidled up to the guy he would “work” with them. So no, it’s not happening because “we” allowed it and frankly I find that characterization highly insulting. I certainly didn’t vote for the guy, I’m not part of the “we”; and I don’t participate in “shared” guilt. If this guy gets his way, the upside is that he’ll weaken the U.S. militarily to the point that the Reds, Chinese or Russian may well see the advantage to a first strike.
I searched and could not believe no one posted this series in July. I guess things looked good for McCain then and no one cared.
