President Trump denied Friday that he campaigned on avoiding “endless” wars, as he seeks to reach a deal to end hostilities with Iran. “I didn’t promise anything. I don’t like these endless wars. This is not an endless war,” he told host Kristen Welker on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” in an interview that aired Sunday. “We’ve been doing this for three months,” Trump added, referring to the Iran conflict that began on Feb. 28. “Much of it has been under… a pretty good form of ceasefire.” The president later said that he would “not have built the strongest military in...

An American who worked as an editor and commentator for state-run media in China, Thomas Pauken II, pleaded guilty Thursday to working as an unregistered agent for the Chinese government in the U.S. During a roughly 40-minute hearing in Alexandria, Virginia, Pauken, 51, told U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema he was unaware of the legal requirement to register before acting for a foreign government, but he also said he understood that his lack of knowledge was not a defense to the charge.

Former President Joe Biden sued the Department of Justice late Tuesday to block the release of dozens of hours of audio connected to a now-shuttered investigation into his handling of classified documents. At issue: Seventy hours of audio recordings and transcripts dating back to 2017, which are records of conversations between the former president and Mark Zwonitzer, an author who worked with Biden on a memoir about the death of his son, Beau. The records were obtained by the Justice Department by then-Special Counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed by then-Attorney General Merrick Garland in 2023 to investigate Biden.

Andrew Hugg, a U.S. Chief of Chemical Nuclear Surety, was caught on hidden camera casually revealing sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant... "They stole our money. They bought houses, $100,000 cars. They can get themselves rich and go live in Dubai. Like I said, I lived in Ukraine. I worked there with the government. That government is so corrupt. They just stole it and they they bought houses, cars, like $100,000 cars. They're officials in the government. And then now that it's like 100 billion, 200 billion, they're like stealing it all. But if they can get...

Apparently, Tucker Carlson thought it would be a good idea to use his platform to attack Franklin Graham, Samaritan’s Purse and the faith-based community. Tucker Carlson made a big mistake. There are situations that we sometimes have a great deal of familiarity with. The work of Samaritan’s Purse and Franklin Graham is one of those situations for me. Readers here will know of my time spent as a CERT volunteer during national disasters, most of which involve hurricane relief. I have worked closely with Samaritan’s purse, spent time inside that organization and know the scale of assistance they provide. They...

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful To the people of the United States of America, and to all those who, amid a flood of distortions and manufactured narratives, continue to seek the truth and aspire to a better life: Iran—by this very name, character, and identity—is one of the oldest continuous civilizations in human history. Despite its historical and geographical advantages at various times, Iran has never, in its modern history, chosen the path of aggression, expansion, colonialism, or domination. [Unless you count our colonization of Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, neighboring portions of Iraq, Kurdistan, and any other...

Democratic state Rep. James Talarico of Texas has offered some off-the-wall comments regarding the Bible and God on multiple occasions during his political career. Talarico, a former public school teacher who is currently attending a Presbyterian seminary, defeated Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas in Tuesday’s Democratic primary for the party’s nomination for the United States Senate seat held by Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas. Talarico’s comments included arguing that “God is nonbinary” and that the Bible justified abortion. “In committee, I listened to 15 hours of testimony about this bill. The worst part, for me, was the number...

***Marco Rubio insisted Tuesday that he was misunderstood one day prior when he said the US attacked Iran on Saturday because “we knew that there was going to be an Israeli action” that would “precipitate an attack against American forces.” Rubio walked back his prior statements after President Trump flatly denied that Israel chose the timing of the attack — maintaining in an Oval Office pool spray hours earlier, as he had in interviews, that he chose to attack after unsuccessful US-Iran talks Thursday in Geneva. “This was a question of timing, of why this had to happen as a...

Sorry, Gav. Sorry, Gretch. Sorry, Pete. And nothing for you, Josh Shapiro. The DNC establishment selected newly elected Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger as the face of their party to make their official response to President Trump's State of the Union speech. And all anyone could conclude from it was 'what were they thinking?' [Rebuttal video at link] With her knobby nose and missing lips, she had the unfortunate appearance of a gnome, and not a cute one. She can't help that, but Breitbart notes that her gestures were off, too, which she could have practiced a little. Abigail Spanberger's response...

Gallup will no longer track presidential approval ratings after more than eight decades doing so, the public opinion polling agency confirmed to The Hill on Wednesday. The company said starting this year it would stop publishing approval and favorability ratings of individual political figures, saying in a statement it “reflects an evolution in how Gallup focuses its public research and thought leadership.” “Our commitment is to long-term, methodologically sound research on issues and conditions that shape people’s lives,” a spokesperson for the agency said. “That work will continue through the Gallup Poll Social Series, the Gallup Quarterly Business Review, the...

[Catholic Caucus] The Long Shadow of Vatican II: Ambiguity as Ecclesial CancerOn February 8, Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Society of Saint Pius X delivered a sermon in which he spoke of the necessity for the Society to consecrate new bishops. The purpose of this piece is not to address the merits or challenges of that decision, but rather to focus on some of the problems he identified as plaguing the Church today and how these flow from a reading of the Second Vatican Council that has led to profound confusion—confusion that was aggravated by Pope Francis. The Second Vatican...

[Catholic Caucus] SSPX Episcopal Consecrations: All About SoulsIn his sermon for the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Father Davide Pagliarani, Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), announced his decision to “entrust the bishops of the Society with the task of proceeding with new episcopal consecrations, on 1 July next.” Many people — perhaps even some with good will and a basic knowledge about Catholicism— may misunderstand almost everything associated with this decision. However, as we can see from the passages from Fr. Pagliarani’s sermon that follow, one thing should become abundantly clear...

In a new interview, the former Republican congresswoman also suggested that baby boomers are the most "brainwashed generation" Former Georgia Rep. NBA coach Steve Kerr spoke to reporters Friday, telling them, “It’s shameful…we can have law enforcement officers who commit murder” and a government that will “come out and lie about what happened.” The Minnesota Timberwolves held a moment of silence Thursday for the woman who was shot and killed after allegedly driving her vehicle into an ICE agent. On Friday, Golden State coach Kerr blasted ICE while speaking to reporters. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Kerr made his comments before Golden State’s game against the Sacramento Kings. He said, “It’s shameful that in our country, we can have law...

Yesterday, several videos went viral of Renee Nicole Macklin Good blocking ICE from driving down a neighborhood street in Minneapolis with a vehicle during an ICE raid. In one of the videos, several ICE agents are seen approaching the vehicle where Good was sitting in the driver’s seat. Her Honda SUV was parked perpendicular to traffic. Two ICE agents approach the window of the vehicle and demand that she move. She backs up, repositions her tires so she is aiming directly at the ICE agent standing to her right, and points her vehicle at the ICE agent in front of...
