Newly released Justice Department memos show that September 11 panel commissioner Jamie S. Gorelick was more intimately involved than previously thought with hampering communications between U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies fighting terrorism.

There she sits with a big smirk on her face - the single person most directly responsible for the deaths of 3000 of her fellow citizens and on the investigating committee to boot! Clinton must be chortling in the background. What a coup! What better way to deflect the committee from fingering the root cause of 9/11 than to place the person most responsible for it on the inside. I don't believe that her membership is any accident.
Of course her role in 1995 was to prevent overseas information via the CIA about the Chinese campaign money for technology transfers from reaching the FBI for domestic follow up; it still had the unintended consequence of tying the hands of terrorist trackers which increased the likelihood of the success of 9/11.

Yeah, except I think it is more than just stopping campaign contributions. What I am thinking here is BCCI, the Pakistani organization that trafficked an unbelievable amount of weapons and other illicit contraband during the 80's and early 90's to terrorists and all sorts of seedy types. I would imagine they didn't want any investigation into these terrorist groups for the very fact that it could lead right back to them.

Not an impossible scenario, just look for example at the Pakistani nuke guy who was selling nuke tech all around the mideast. Now we have found out some of that tech came from China, who in turn stole quite a bit from us. So, how much of the technology now being used by Iran and N. Korea to build nukes is ours, and the result of the Clinton's corruption?
