So when email whistleblowing provides tangible proof of corruption and malfeasance between Burisma, Joe, and Hunter, FB and Twitter all of a sudden don't like whistleblowing and censor it. As well, they sure had no problem with the dirty dossier lies being peddled on FB and Twitter - plus Russian Collusion nonsense, etc - all a result of Hillary seeking foreign help to have it compiled for her. Nor do they mind unproven, unsubstantiated allegations from "unknown/unnamed sources" being peddled against Trump on a regular basis on their platforms.

"From our standpoint, it’s not a good thing," Clapper said of accelerated advancements in encryption technology. Whistle-blower Edward Snowden, by leaking classified data two years ago, contributed to the acceleration of sophisticated encryption methods that militants are using to hide their communications, National Intelligence Director James Clapper said Monday. The rapid advancement of commercially available encryption software is proving to be a difficult obstacle in detecting potential threats, he said at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. "From our standpoint, it's not a good thing," he said of the rapidly advancing encryption, adding that the software has had...

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is blocking the main whistleblower in the Fast and Furious case from publishing a book for pay, claiming his retelling of the Mexico “gun-walking” scandal will hurt morale inside the embattled law enforcement agency, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times. ATF’s dispute with Special Agent John Dodson is setting up a First Amendment showdown that is poised to bring together liberal groups like the American Civil Liberties Union and conservatives in Congress who have championed Mr. Dodson’s protection as a whistleblower. The ACLU is slated to become involved in the...

    NY Times ^ | July 29, 2004 | ERIC LICHTBLAU
WASHINGTON, July 28 - A classified Justice Department investigation has concluded that a former F.B.I. translator at the center of a growing controversy was dismissed in part because she accused the bureau of ineptitude, and it found that the F.B.I. did not aggressively investigate her claims of espionage against a co-worker. The Justice Department's inspector general concluded that the allegations by the translator, Sibel Edmonds, "were at least a contributing factor in why the F.B.I. terminated her services," and the F.B.I. is considering disciplinary action against some employees as a result, Robert S. Mueller III, director of the bureau, said...
  • New Rules Leave Lawyers In Bind on Whistle-Blowing (Ethics vs. the Bar)

    Washington Post ^ | Wednesday, August 6, 2003 | Brooke A. Masters
Under new Securities and Exchange Commission rules that kicked in today, attorneys for public companies are permitted and encouraged to tip off federal regulators when they believe their clients are committing fraud. But many lawyers who take up the federal government on its invitation could find themselves in legal hot water at the state level -- client-confidentiality rules in the District and eight states prohibit lawyers from divulging client confidences, except to prevent death or bodily harm. But the SEC disagrees, citing both the Sarbanes-Oxley law, which empowered the commission to set standards for the lawyers practicing before it, and...
