Washburn University removed the statues of Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson from their campus saying that they didn't want those statues to be an embarrassment to alummi. On 8/21/2020, they quietly cancelled a black lives matter rally that was to be held in their stadium. Their excuse was coronavirus. They've just announced the rescheduling of the event to 10/02/2020.
