Turkey on Thursday suspended all export and import operations with Israel due to what it described as its "aggression against Palestine in violation of international law and human rights," the Turkish Trade Ministry announced, according to the Anadolu news agency. "Since the first day, our country has rushed to the aid of the people of Gaza, delivered tens of thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to the region by ships and planes, especially food, health and medical aid materials, evacuated thousands of patients and stood by our Palestinian brothers and sisters in these difficult days," the ministry said. "However, the...
  • VIDEO: Hillary Produced Broadway Musical "SUFFS" Hilariously Hyped

VIDEODid Max Bialystock secretly team up with Hillary Clinton to produce the new Broadway musical "SUFFS?" Why? Because as you see the virtue signaling musical catering to liberals seems designed to make people laugh AT it. Actually the best part of "SUFFS" could be the inadvertently hilarious reactions as you see here. Oh, and how MUCH of her own money did Hillary put into "producing" SUFFS since her main effort appears to be nothing more than merely lending the musical her name. And if "SUFFS" does manage to earn a profit, I guarantee that Hillary will be grabbing a chunk...
  • Here Are All the Tyson Food Brands in Case You Want to Boycott Them

To say many Americans are furious with Tyson Foods right now would be an understatement. When word broke that they are closing a plant in Iowa so they can hire migrants in states with more “refugee-friendly” employment laws, the backlash was swift and may continue for a long time. In short, they’re getting the “Bud Light Treatment” and rightly so. An entire popular beer brand was effectively decimated because they put an image of a transgender man on their cans. Shouldn’t the anger be heightened against a company that is firing 1,200 employees in a town with only 8,000 people?
  • Astronomers call for renaming the Magellanic Clouds...Explorer Ferdinand Magellan's name is not fitting, a group of scientists argues

Names have significance, especially when they’re written in the stars. A group of astronomers is coalescing around an idea to rename two neighbors of the Milky Way, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds. Named after explorer Ferdinand Magellan, the satellite galaxies are visible with the naked eye from the Southern Hemisphere. But Magellan’s name is not fitting, astronomer Mia de los Reyes and colleagues argue. The leader of the first expedition to successfully circle the globe, Magellan enslaved and killed Indigenous people encountered on the voyage, which set out from Spain in 1519 (SN: 9/17/19). “Because we’re naming things in...

Fans of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” may be disappointed to see actress Marina Sirtis claiming she’s deleting her Twitter account this weekend. The popular one-hit-wonder who has been milking the brand that built her for decades announced several times that she’s done with the social media site now that free speech (or as she calls it, “hate speech”) appears to be coming back now that Elon Musk has purchased the company. Will any other Hollywood wokesters soon follow? We can only hope.
  • Chi-Com-Compromised Democrat Eric Swalwell Uses Own Child to Virtue Signal for Gun Control and Nobody’s Buying It

When we cover Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell, it’s usually his Tweets or statements alone that give us ammunition against him. But every now and then, his posts are so over-the-top ludicrous that the reactions to them are the real news. Case-in-Point: His attempt to virtue signal by invoking an alleged FaceTime he had with his 4-year-old son: My 4-year-old just FaceTimed to ask what I’m doing to “help the people in Buffalo” and “why did the bad man do this?” Absolutely gutting. This cannot be his normal. It’s time to BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS. #EndGunViolence My 4-year-old just FaceTimed to ask...

Working-class Americans are paying a heavy price for their elites’ moral posturing. As gasoline prices in the US continue to surge to an unprecedented $7 a gallon in some places, President Joe Biden seems more interested in finding someone to blame than mitigating the problem. ‘Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of [Russian president Vladimir] Putin’, the president said on Friday at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference. The president then cited a ‘fact checker’ in the New York Times and a Washington Post op-ed to counter anyone daring to lay the blame for skyrocketing prices at the...

For my job, I come in contact with many people from states where masking is maybe not "mandatory" but heavily and socially encouraged. The people ask me if they have to wear a mask, and I say no, this is Texas, and I would say the vast majority basically say, thank God.

I am not vaccinated. In a sane society, a personal decision like this would not warrant a column, or even an explanation. But we do not live in a sane society. As a healthy 36-year-old woman, COVID-19 does not pose a statistically meaningful threat to my life. I have a 99.97 percent chance of survival... when there is an element of risk from the vaccines ... Biden White House recently broke its previous promise and issued federal mandates ... what exactly is the point of mandating vaccines that have .. failed to stop the spread? ... the vaccinated are also...

On a recent walk, I came across a neighborhood littered with the yard sign in this photo. It seems the provocative platitudes we’ve seen on bumper stickers for a century have now taken root in our yards. And for the same reason: To tell the world that the sign-planter holds wonderful beliefs that he’s willing to impose upon and attribute to the rest of his family. It’s surely not because the sign-planter thinks he’s persuading anyone of the rightness of his position, as if the neighbors reading the sign will say to themselves, “Gee, ‘Democracy dies in darkness’ is a...
  • Deutsche Bank and Signature Bank will 'sever ties with Trump and his organization' following election loss and MAGA riots - but POTUS still owes them $300 million in loans

Deutsche Bank AG is to sever all ties with President Trump and the Trump organization according to a source with knowledge of the sudden business decision. But the bank will still be forced to deal with the Trump family and their employee for some time to come with outstanding loans of more than $300 million yet to be repaid. The decision by the German bank follows a glut of social media companies and other firms who are suspending links with the president following last week's rally to the Capitol which left five people dead in the mayhem and aftermath.

The residents of a Whitefish neighborhood surrounding a pleasant lake with a racist name filed documents in Flathead County District Court earlier this month to officially rename it Lost Loon Lake. The petition, submitted by the City of Whitefish on behalf of 12 of the 21 lakeshore property owners, is the latest development in a years-long effort to change the name of Lost Coon Lake, citing coon’s use as an offensive slur for African-Americans. And that name, according to court filings, was a “compromise” solution after an initiative began in the 1980s to rename what was then (N-Word) Lake. “Locals...

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources employees were told they must wear a face mask during at-home Zoom calls to ‘set a good example.’ Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers issued a statewide mandatory mask mandate on August 1, but people are not required to wear a face covering in their own homes. The head of Wisconsin’s DNR sent an email to employees reminding them that they must always wear a face mask, even while on a Zoom call. The Kansas Star reported: In an email to employees sent out on July 31, the head of Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources not only...

As political forces in the United States push for strict mask mandates to fight the spread of the coronavirus, new guidance issued by the World Health Organization undermines the left’s claim that people must be forced to wear the protective equipment in public. The WHO posted the updated recommendations in a Wednesday tweet. This most recent change, which outlines when people should not wear a mask in public, follows months of inconsistent information from the group about face coverings. ... “People should NOT wear masks when exercising,” the WHO’s update reads, “as masks may reduce the ability to breathe comfortably.”...
  • Mollie Hemingway: Media Has ‘Overstated Their Confidence’ In Mask-Wearing, Using It As ‘Political Cudgel’

Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway cited the lack of concrete scientific evidence to support widespread mask-wearing to contend that the media has “overstated their confidence” in the practice and are using it as a “political cudgel” against skeptics. Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz introduced the topic on Sunday morning’s “Media Buzz” by pointing out prominent Republicans who are now encouraging mask usage, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and former Vice President Dick Cheney. “Why are the pundits so rankled that President Trump is not a leading proponent of mask-wearing?” Kurtz asked Hemingway. When he announced on May 1 that masks would be worn in public places, Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker was emphatic. "We view this as common sense. This is going to be basically a way of life. No ifs, no ands, no buts, no doubts." However, doubts are showing up. First, Baker's order said to wear face coverings when in public places and unable to keep a social distance of six feet. Why'd he pick six feet? There is no research showing that six feet means anything in a public space. That six-foot idea is an arbitrary guess that was "conjured...

Amid protests across the country in the wake of George Floyd's death, a University of Alabama at Birmingham professor provided a step-by-step guide along with a figure drawing explaining how protesters can "topple" Confederate monuments. Sarah Parcak, a well-known archaeologist who received a Guggenheim fellowship in 2020, shared on Sunday "handy" information about how to destroy public property she considered "racist." "PSA For ANYONE who might be interested in how to pull down an obelisk* safely from an Egyptologist who never ever in a million years thought this advice might come in handy," Parcak tweeted. Ricky Gervais is warning celebrities against political speeches after a number of them spoke out at the Oscars over the weekend, saying that the comments to "everyday, hard working people" at Hollywood awards shows usually backfire. "I have nothing against the most famous people in the world using their privileged, global platform to tell the world what they believe," the comedian and five-time Golden Globes host tweeted Monday, a day after the 92nd annual Academy Awards. "I even agree with most of it," Gervais said to his more than 14 million followers. "I just tried to warn them that when...

Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon said Thursday that the powerful investment bank will only finance initial public offerings (IPOs) for companies that have at least one nonwhite male board member. Solomon said during a Thursday interview with CNBC that as of July 1 in the U.S. and Europe, Goldman “is not going to take a company public unless there is at least one diverse board candidate, with a focus on women.” “Diversity on boards is a very very important issue, and we've been very very focused on it and so we're trying to find ways to encourage that,” Solomon told...
