Ward Connerly, American Civil Rights Institute chairman, claimed at a lecture on campus Wednesday that affirmative action is a form of racism and is immoral. "We have to get beyond the point where we stop making excuses and presume black and Hispanic students just can't make it without affirmative action," Connerly said.
