How can that be? Those two trends in CNN polling would appear to be at least somewhat contradictory, but that neglects the impact of the magic elixir of American politics — partisanship. For the first time in CNN’s series on impeachment, support for Donald Trump’s removal from office has hit 50%, at the same time his approval rating has jumped to its highest level since June: Half of Americans say President Donald Trump should be impeached and removed from office, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, a new high in CNN polling on the topic and...

VATICAN CITY Gov. Jerry Brown challenged the world’s religious leaders to further engage as he minimized the negative effects of President Donald Trump on meeting the climate-change challenge. “The Trump factor is very small, very small indeed,” in comparison to the commitments taking place around the world, Brown said to a burst of applause Saturday at an event organized by the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences. “That’s nothing to cheer about, because if it was only Trump that was a problem, we’d have it solved. But that’s not our only problem. “The problem … is us. It’s our whole way...

I saw this video on Hilary White's Twitter and it left me with a sour stomach. When that passed I felt the deep urge to throw down my gauntlet, like a medieval knight. This is a priest and he's acting like a third rate performer in a run down comedy club. Novus Ordo: Another Liturgical Abuse Priest on altar strips off vestments down to a referee's uniform and then mocks Beniction by using a baby.

Beginning on Sunday, November 5, in Rome, officially begins the " ecumenical Mass " a few steps from St. Peter's. From Santa Marta, in the past few days, an unofficial "bergogliano" invitation to these communities started to "organize" (since it is their style to be pioneers of ecclesial innovations) to start with the uterans experimenting with the "ecumenical mass". Base Communities have been organized for the most part. Meanwhile, publishing a document on the urgent necessity of Eucharistic hospitality within the Catholic and Protestant Church you find here ( http://www.cdbsanpolo.it/cartella%20documenti/Comunit%C3%A0%20di%20base%20e%20Noi % 20We are% 20Chiesa% 20sull'anno% 20luterano-1.pdf ). Francis Ends Celibacy Pope Francis has placed a request for Brazilian priests to be allowed to marry on the agenda of a forthcoming Synod on the Amazon region, Vatican sources told Il Messaggero. From the beginning it was clear that the Amazon Synod is only a pretext. With the usual single-case tactic Francis took the decision to put a "partial lifting" of priestly celibacy up for discussion and a possible vote by Brazilian bishops. It followed a request by Modernist Cardinal Claudio Hummes who asked Francis to consider ordaining married men. This means that Francis will again prefer an unthought...

A Most Revealing Photograph by Christopher A. Ferrara November 1, 2017 One of the tritest of trite expressions is that a picture is worth a thousand words. And yet it is true, especially if one studies the picture in all its implications. Consider, for example, this most revealing photograph: The photo was taken at the very moment Rosary-praying Catholics were about to be forcibly removed by police from the cathedral in Brussels during an insane “ecumenical service” to “celebrate” the Protestant Revolt, aka the “Reformation.” Arms linked, they were praying the Rosary in reparation for the sacrilege taking placing before...

Catholics Pray Rosary to Oppose Evils of False Ecumenism Endorsed by Grand Rapids Diocese Edit: received this letter from a Catholic, Tyler Nethercott, who resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who organized a rosary prayer outside their cathedral to object to the false ecumenism going on, where the local ordinary and many others endorse the evils of the Protestant Revolt. Greetings, I wanted to provide you with a recap of a prayerful protest at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, Michigan. On Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King, there was an "Ecumenical Prayer Celebration" taking place to commemorate...

Washington (CNN)Attorney General Jeff Sessions did not disclose meetings he had last year with Russian officials when he applied for his security clearance, the Justice Department told CNN Wednesday. Sessions, who met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at least two times last year, didn't note those interactions on the form, which requires him to list "any contact" he or his family had with a "foreign government" or its "representatives" over the past seven years, officials said. Sessions initially listed a year's worth of meetings with foreign officials on the security clearance form, according to Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores....

Exit polling from the Wisconsin primary shed some light on which of the three remaining GOP candidates might have the best chance of uniting the Republican party going into November. Voters were asked about their "feelings" if Donald Trump, John Kasich, or Ted Cruz were elected as president. In response, 41 percent said they would be "excited" or "optimistic" if Trump were elected, while 58 percent said they would be "concerned" or "scared"—for a net score of minus-17 points (41 percent excited/optimistic to 58 percent concerned/scared).-snip- Finally, 60 percent said they would be "excited" or "optimistic" if Cruz were elected,...

".....Of course,Trump doesn't drink. Neither did W. The want-to-have-a-beer-with metric is metaphorical in nature. It's more a measure of the voter's own id and imagination than of the candidate's likely behavior if thrown into a prolonged, casual social interaction with an unknown citizen.(A 2005 story in the Onion was titled "Long-Awaited Beer With Bush Really Awkward,Voter Reports."Noting the poll numbers on the beer question, the story envisions W. tippling an O'Doul's with a blue-collar Pennsylvanian and failing to connect on any level.)Still, knocking one back with a candidate appears to be an activity voters like to ponder.Consider this January message thread on the conservative...
