Former President Bill Clinton was in Denver, Colorado, stumping for his wife yesterday. A U.S. spy satellite set to reenter the Earth's orbit in late February or early March could hit land somewhere in North America, the military said. Normally such objects break apart and then burn up in the Earth's atmosphere on reentry. But the military says parts of the large satellite are likely to survive reentry and become hazards as they tumble back towards Earth. "We're aware that this satellite is out there," Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, who heads of U.S. Northern Command, said in an interview with The Associated Press. "We're aware it is a fairly substantial size. And...

Kennedy will endorse Barack Obama for president tomorrow, breaking his year-long neutrality to send a powerful signal of where the legendary Massachusetts Democrat sees the party going -- and who he thinks is best to lead it. Damon, 33, claims that Moore never asked for his consent to use a...

he New Testament story describes Jesus walking on water in the Sea of Galilee but according to a study led by Florida State University Professor of Oceanography Doron Nof, it's more likely that he walked on an isolated patch of floating ice. The study points to a rare combination of optimal water and atmospheric conditions for development of a unique, localized freezing phenomenon that Nof and his co-authors call "springs ice." In what is now northern Israel, such ice could have formed on the cold freshwater surface of the Sea of Galilee -- known as Lake Kinneret by modern-day Israelis...

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, India (AFP) - An Indian movie director said he hopes to persuade Paris Hilton to play the role of Nobel laureate and prospective Catholic Saint, Mother Teresa, in an upcoming film. "Her features resemble Mother Teresa," director T. Rajeevnath told AFP from the southwestern coastal state of Kerala. The filmmaker said Hilton is on his shortlist after a computer-generated image showed a close facial match between the hotel heiress and the Albanian-born nun. Mother Teresa, who died in 1997, worked among the poor in the teeming slums of Kolkata, formerly Calcutta, with the Missionaries of Charity. She was beatified...

I really don't understand why this has not been announced in the MSM. It seems like something that the American Public should be made aware of. Regardless of whether or not this threat is viable, I don't think it is our place to judge that really. I do think, however, viable or not that the public should be aware of it. Please share the information with your readers.
