Bob Uecker is headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.He was announced Thursday as the winner of the Ford Frick Award, presented annually for contributions to baseball broadcasting, and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 28 in Cooperstown.There he will join former players Eddie Murray and Gary Carter on one of baseball's most special days.'I'm very honored, Uecker said. 'This is a major happening for any broadcaster or a player, for that matter.When you talk about the Hall of Fame, that's the pinnacle. It's as high as you can go.'
