The 5 Taliban prisoners exchanged for accused deserter Bo Bergdahl will be able to travel anywhere in the world unless the US and Qatar can come to an agreement about their continued stay in the Gulf country. The agreement that led to the terrorist's release banned them from traveling outside of Qatar and also stipulated certain survellance procedures that Qatar must follow. KABUL, Afghanistan, Nov. 23, 2011 – A combined Afghan and coalition security force today captured a Taliban leader and four associates in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Afghanistan’s Helmand province, military officials reported. Wali Mohammad and four companions were returning to Afghanistan from Pakistan, officials said. The security force received information that the Taliban leader was visiting southern Afghanistan after being in hiding in Pakistan for several years. WASHINGTON, Oct. 3, 2011 – A combined Afghan and coalition security force captured the Haqqani network’s senior leader in Afghanistan during a security operation in the Jani Khel district of Afghanistan’s Paktia province, military officials reported. Security forces detained Haji Mali Khan, uncle of Siraj and Badruddin Haqqani and the senior Haqqani commander in Afghanistan, on Sept. 27, officials said.
