They are doing the RIGHT THING! And you can bet at least some of them are Freepers! GOD BLESS YOU! -- Joe

Why are the Big Media savaging the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth? Why are the Kerryites telling us to move on and debate the real issues--health care, education, the economy? Because they know this could kill John Kerry's candidacy. Because they know this is not just about Vietnam, but also about the credibility and character of the man who would be President. I have followed Kerry since he became famous. In 1971, I urged Nixon not to enforce Chief Justice Burger's order to remove Kerry's Vietnam vets from the Mall. We don't want another Bonus Army episode, I told the...

A very simple petition that you can sign, asking Kerry to turn over those records and put this behind us. Click here to do so------- Dear Senator Kerry Please, for the sake of all Americans release all records relating to the allegations made by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (SBV) so that this election - and our country - can focus on the other important national and international issues at this critical time. Only you can put an end to this distraction. It is apparent that this story won?t go away no matter how you choose to fight it...

Commence firing... With cash in their war chest and momentum on their side, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth launched yet another blistering television ad against John Kerry. The ad features one of Kerry's own swift boat crew members, Steve Gardner, refuting Kerry's decades-old claim that he and his crew were in Cambodia. Here is the transcript of the ad:STEVE GARDNER: “I spent more time on John Kerry’s boat than any other crew member.John Kerry hasn’t been honest, he’s been deceitful.John Kerry claims that he spent Christmas in 1968 in Cambodia and that is categorically a lie.Not in...

The Irony is that Kerry is opposed to the Patriot Act on civil liberty grounds at the same time he is trying to deprive a group of patriots of their freedom of speech. Whatever names Kerry's surrogates call the swiftboat vets in the coming days, I'm sure it won't be as bad as what he called them on the Senate Floor and in his book.

As Democratic hopeful John Kerry whines about the Swift Boat Veterans questioning his Vietnam “war service,” more revelations have surfaced which challenge the legitimacy of his first Purple Heart. The Senator claims that that medal was received because of enemy fire he took, but his own personal diary contradicts that assertion. While the Senator’s supporters tried unsuccessfully to portray President Bush as being “AWOL” during the Vietnam War, they won’t address the fact that Kerry tried to defer his military service at that time for 12 months. And what would Kerry and his friends say about the fact that his...

Something started bothering me tonight about Kerry's action reports -- MINES. Only in action's involving LTJG Kerry do we find reports of mines detonating without contact near Kerry's boat. How is it LTJG Kerry is the only skipper of a swift boat who encounters mines that mysteriously detonate before a boat actually runs over it? There is one exception of course, and that is PCF-3 which all documentation makes clear that a mine had detonated under it after running over it. Going over the entire chronology of COSDIV 11 you won't find anyone reporting mines detonating near a swift...

In his continuing implosion, Kerry has evidently decided to make suppression of free speech his new campaign nexus. Only six short days ago, Kerry uttered these words:Of course, the President keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: "Bring it on."Kerry makes a feeble attempt at laying the consequences of his own actions coupled with the swift boat veteran's ire at the feet of George W. Bush. Well...

I just head on the Rush show (with guest host today) that Kerry has asked for time on 60 minutes and Meet the Press the day before the Republican Convention to make an apology to Vietnam Vets? Haven't heard it anywhere else. Is this just a trial balloon? Or is Kerry going to flip-flop again.

Even a blind man can see that the Press is desperately trying to kill the Swift Vet story. They've tried ignoring them, but that didn't work. Then they (i.e. the New York Times, Washington Post, etc.) tried character-assassinating them, but that's not working either (it's not that easy to slash down 250+ people). The latest attempt is the New York Times' dumb idea that showing that a Swift Vet seven years ago was Karl Rove's father's mother's uncle's sister's cousin's nephew's godson's best friend's lawyer would cause voters to "naturally" assume that Bush is mind controlling all 250+ Swift Vets...

To all who have read "Unfit for Command" and believe the contents, need to post their views and opinions on the website's of Barnes and Noble and Amazon. The book burning Libs are hijacking the sites intended for giving a thumbs up or down to make political statements and disenfranchising the reputation of the "Swifties" with rhetoric. I encourage all those out there that appreciate the courage of the Swifties to take a stand for truth check out the sites.

Bush rips third-party ads, is mum on anti-Kerry push John E. O'Neill said that his associates are developing a database of former swift boat veterans, "focusing on people from each state," who can keep questions about his service three decades ago in the spotlight. Originally buoyed by a $200,000 donation from a major Republican backer in Houston, the swift boat group now says it has raised $1.56 million from more than 24,000 donors, mostly since the organization began running ads attacking Kerry after the Democratic convention. "Our media strategy is to follow him," both with paid advertising and press...

NEW YORK As the John Kerry swift boat controversy navigates itself from the shoreline of the 2004 presidential campaign into the mainstream, newspapers face a dilemma of how to report on the attacks against the Democratic nominee without giving them undue credibility or blowing the issue out of proportion. Alison Mitchell, deputy national editor for The New York Times (Click for QuikCap), points to the changing media landscape and its impact on what newspapers choose to cover. "I'm not sure that in an era of no-cable television we would even have looked into it," she said. But Washington Post Executive...

The Soros-Kerry Connection Written by Doc Farmer Tuesday, August 24, 2004 Politics is an ugly business. Politics also makes for rather bizarre bedfellows. In terms of vitriol, spite, chutzpah, and sheer hit-for-way-too-long-with-an-ugly-stick repulsiveness, 2004 has plumbed new depths. It started in 2003, before the lib/dem/soc/commie candidate had even been selected from the gang of nine, with well-financed hatred focused on one man. Dubya. For a year, we’ve heard the same refrain. ABB – Anybody But Bush. Anybody could include Saddam, Hitler, bin Laden, Mao, Stalin, etc., but for the lib/dem/soc/commies, Hey, that’d be just fine. Besides, they’re all closer to...

For 35 years, Rich Baker seldom talked about Vietnam, Swift boats or John Kerry's ability as a young naval officer. But now, with Republican partisans challenging Kerry's wartime record, Baker said he feels compelled to strike back. "Every Swift boat officer gave his all in Vietnam, but Kerry stood above the rest of us," said Baker, 61, of Scott, a former Navy lieutenant and Swift boat commander. "He was number one as far as courageousness and aggressiveness. He set the tone." Campaign aides to Kerry, the Democratic candidate for president, yesterday asked Baker to speak out publicly to counter television...

SPRINGFIELD, VA (AP) - Nguyen Ngoc Loan, whose execution of a Viet Cong prisoner on the streets of Saigon in 1968 became one of the most chilling images of the Vietnam War, died Tuesday. -snip- On Feb. 1, 1968, Loan was director of South Vietnam's national police and the North Vietnamese had just begun the Tet Offensive, their huge military push southward. Firefights had broken out all over Saigon, and Loan's police were trying to rid the South Vietnamese capital of Viet Cong guerrillas. Loan led the prisoner, his hands bound, onto a street corner and in front of a...

Vietnam veteran John O’Neil, spokesman of the organization calling itself “Swift Boat Veterans for Truth,” released a devastating ad condemning Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry as being unable to “lead,” and further calling him dishonest, a betrayer to his shipmates, and most devastating of all, a “liar” regarding the commission of at least one of the Purple Hearts he received. The outrage that quivered off the lips of the Kerry campaign was, understandably, filled with anger and disbelief. (www.swiftvets.com/) Calling a special press conference in May at the National Press Club in Washington, O’Neil and 25 other veterans who served...
