Gen. George S. Patton III, the flamboyant field commander ... came to Boston to blast Kerry for "probably" causing "some of my guys to get killed" by his dissidence. "There's no soap ever been invented that can wash that blood off his hands."

KERRY CAN'T TAKE IT Let me begin this bit by addressing those of you who are getting fed up with this presidential election. I'm with you. There are so many issues we could be concentrating on in a presidential election. We could be discussing Social Security reform and explaining to the black men of this country that, on the average, each and every one of them will see about $10,000 of their life's earnings seized for redistribution to an old white woman. We could have presidential candidates with competing ideas of tax reform. I, for instance, yearn for the last...

The Kerry response to the Swift Vets for the Truth is that these charges area a baseless smear on Kerry. Kerry's handlers are going into WJClinton defense mode: Regardless of the accuracy of the charges, divert attention from them by attacking the accusers. That defense did not prevent Clinton from being Impeached, but it did keep him from being removed from office. I do not think this tactic can relied on in this case since the standard that needs to be met is a bit higher. Kerry is running for the approval of the American people, not the Senate.

In a few days the CFR 60 day limitation on soft money ads ( aka those not paid for directly by the party or by the candidate ). This is going to impact the Swift Boat Veterans. Kerry on the other hand will be smack dab in the middle of dealing with the issues they have raised. If Kerry & Kompany directly make statements against the swift boat vets then it would seem to me that would open up the achilles heal of CFR, Free Speach. If these guys are being discredited personally then don't they have the right to...

You be the judge if Sen. Kerry or his cast of crew can be trusted to tell the truth.... October 27, 1996, business columnist David Warsh wrote for the Boston Globe about discrepancies in recent accounts of the day Kerry won the Silver Star. He quoted Sen. Kerry's former crewmate during an interview, Tom Belodeau, as saying, "You know, I shot that guy. He jumped up, he looked right at me, I looked at him. You could tell he was trying to decide whether to shoot or not. I expected the guy on Kerry's boat with the twin 50s...

Swift Boat Accounts Incomplete Sun Aug 22,11:04 AM ET By Michael Dobbs, Washington Post Staff Writer [Excerpt] An investigation by The Washington Post into what happened that day suggests that both sides have withheld information from the public record and provided an incomplete, and sometimes inaccurate, picture of what took place. But although Kerry's accusers have succeeded in raising doubts about his war record, they have failed to come up with sufficient evidence to prove him a liar. …On the core issue of whether Kerry was wounded under enemy fire, thereby qualifying for a third Purple Heart, the Navy records...

The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads and the book Unfit for Command have traction and have legs. But, we must not just discuss them here. The liberal press ignores most the facts, but even the few friendly reporters or comentators may not know much of what is known here. In addition to posting here, it is important to email them when they do not raise or refute a point sothey will be better prepared to do so in the future. It is also important to write letters to the editor. We can't just preach to the choir here.

Former swift boat officer, William Rood, has broke 35 years of silence about the Feb. 28, 1969 mission that he, as skipper of the PCF-23, had participated alongside Sen. Kerry's swift boat (PCF-94) that had lead to Kerry receiving a Silver Star by killing an enemy soldier while preparing to fire a B-40 rocket at their beached swift boat. The reason Rood, 61, has broken his 35 years of silence is because Kerry had personally contacted him and other crew members in recent days asking that they go public with their accounts of what happened on that day he...

In a new ad entitled "George Bush is up to his old tricks" Kerry launches a counter attack to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads. The ad shows John McCain excoriating Bush for "standing beside' a veteran who claimed the McCain had abandoned the Vietnam Veterans. My first impression is that the ad is a very effective response, making it look as though George Bush orchestrated the attack against McCain and is doing the same to Kerry now. However, I believe that is not the case. Standing beside someone is not attacking McCain. It sounded like a bit of...

I see bad fortune for Freepers in the future. If any of you have hopes and ambitions, yo'd better not link your identity to freeper handle. I see more smear campaigns like the one against O'Neil, IRS audits against Democrat enemies ala Clintonistas and on and on. This use of John's comments as a obfuscation tool in the swift boat case against Kerry is the first attack I can remember against a Freeper in this way. Of course he did some work with the site in some way that exposed him and his record on the site because of the...

Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004 12:35 p.m. EST McCain: Hanoi Hilton Guards Taunted POWs With Kerry's Testimony These days, former Vietnam War POW Sen. John McCain has nothing but praise for his fellow Vietnam veteran Sen. John Kerry, the Democrats' current presidential front-runner. But after he was released from the Hanoi Hilton in 1973, McCain publicly complained that testimony by Kerry and others before J. William Fulbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee was "the most effective propaganda [my North Vietnamese captors] had to use against us." "They used Senator Fulbright a great deal," McCain wrote in the May 14, 1973, issue of...

Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry By John O'Neill and Jerome R. Corsi (published by Regnery, a sister company of HUMAN EVENTS) will debut Sunday at No. 3 on the New York Times Bestseller List. Yet, O'Neill, who took over command of Kerry's Swift Boat 94 when Kerry left Vietnam after serving only four months of the typical one-year tour, has not been given broad exposure in the establishment media. Nor have several former Navy officers who served beside Kerry in Vietnam and who were on-the-record sources for O'Neill's book. When O'Neill did appear on...

Under Cover:covering Kerry, instead of the news...Coming just short of declaring the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth group of being aliens from another planet, the New York Times, Washington Post and Boston Globe jot and trot out their latest cover-ups for cover boy John Kerry.

I thought this would be quite appropriate after hearing left-wing screams about $200,000 from a Republican donor. How about millions donated by Soros to shell companies and 527s that are nothing more than a P.O. Box. Soros has donated as high as $20M THAT WE KNOW ABOUT. The only problem is that we only know about his donations to groups we're aware of. Soros' "Reform" By James O. E. Norell First Freedoms | May 31, 2004 If there were an illustration accompanying the word "hypocrisy" in the dictionary, it would be an engraving of globalist billionaire George Soros. Soros, one...

Politics as Usual Published: August 19, 2004 It may seem outlandish to launch a campaign broadside by television ad and book flackery devoted to discrediting the respectable Vietnam War record of Senator John Kerry, who has five combat medals. But that is exactly what a Republican-financed group of partisans is doing in presenting itself as Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and tattooing the Democratic presidential nominee with accusations of lying about his service and war wounds. Never in Mr. Kerry's command, but claiming to have served near enough, its members are trying to contradict the firsthand accounts of his crewmates...

MILITARY RECORDS SEEM TO BACK POODLE Finally, we seem to have a little fact-checking by the media going on with regard to The Poodle's military service in Vietnam. At issue is whether or not The Poodle came under any enemy fire during a mission on March 13, 1969. John Kerry won a Bronze Star for his actions that day. One of the Swift Vets, Larry Thurlow, who commanded another swift boat alongside The Poodle, has said that Kerry did not come under any fire, and that the Bronze Star was another one of Kerry's sham medals. The Washington Post finally...

Club for Growth Launches National Ad Campaign at Democratic National Convention in BostonWashington, D.C.— The Club for Growth, one of the nation’s leading free-market political advocacy organizations, today unveiled a new $1 million television ad campaign at the Democratic National Convention in Boston. The ad shows a spinning weather vane to represent Kerry’s many flip-flops on issues from the death penalty for terrorists to welfare reform to tax cuts. “John Kerry has never taken a position without checking the weather vane,” said Club for Growth president Stephen Moore. “He checks which way the wind is blowing and rides the breeze....
