1-5-01 Kid didn't know it was '02 yet. I have prepared this statement in regards to the act I am about to commit. First of all, Osama bin Laden is absolutely justified in the terror he has caused on 9-11. He has brought a mighty nation to its knees! God blesses him and the others who helped make September 11th happen. The U.S. will have to face the consequences for its horrific actions against the Palestinian people and (illegible, could be Iraq?) by its allegiance with the monstrous Israelis who want nothing short of world domination! You will ...
  • Superbowl XL - Is this the target Al Qaeda has been waiting for? "the American Hiroshima?” (VANITY)

Let’s assume for the moment that the latest audiotape of Bin laden is not, as many have opined, simply an attempt to make himself relevant as he sees the methodical dismantling of his Al-Qaeda terrorist network. Instead, let’s assume for the moment that there is something to his bravado. That he isn’t just bluffing. But that the long-feared worst-case scenario has been achieved by his cohorts: that Al-Qaeda now has in its possession a dirty bomb. And more importantly, that this bomb is now in the targeted geographical location awaiting simply the designated hour for its detonation. Is that an...
  • Tom Cruise Vs. Mel Gibson - (Follywood loves Scientology and Islam; they get special treatment!)

We have commented on actor Tom Cruise using the media to preach the virtues of Scientology and the evils of psychiatry. He gave interviews about his new film, "War of the Worlds," as long as he was permitted to talk about his religion. But Scientology not only has a base in Hollywood, it has enjoyed powerful friends in Washington. For years, Scientology fought a battle with the IRS because the government would not recognize its claim to be a religion. The IRS finally granted Scientology its desired status under President Bill Clinton, the recipient of massive donations from Hollywood. Now...

British Prime Minister Tony Blair's recent visit reminded us of Britain's stake in the war against terrorism. For more than three decades, the British have fought a war of their own against the IRA that has cost thousands of lives on both sides of the Irish Sea. More recently, we've learned that English cities have become hotbeds for radical Islam. The would-be "shoe bomber," Richard Reid, is a product of this. With all of this real-world material to draw from, you wouldn't expect a television program about Britain's elite security service to portray a made-up threat to British security. But...
  • Newsweek: Tom Clancy on terrorism - ‘I Try to Portray Reality’

Aug. 12 — Tom Clancy’s fans believe his political plots are visionary. Long before the threat of a dirty bomb taunted the public imagination, the best-selling author had written “The Sum of All Fears,” about Palestinian radicals who detonate a nuclear explosive at the Super Bowl. Even more eerily prescient was his 1994 novel “Debt of Honor,” in which a suicidal pilot crashes a jumbo jet into the Capitol. CLANCY’S NEW NOVEL—released this week—seems just as tuned in to the current zeitgeist. “The Teeth of the Tiger” is premised upon an argument for pre-emptive action by a super-secret spy group—set...
  • Tom Clancy - Will You Purchase His New Book?

Tom Clancy was on Kudlow and Cramer tonight pushing his new book. I didn't see the beginning of the interview; did they ask about the changes to "Sum of All Fears" in making the movie?I wondered, will I buy the new book, or boycott it in response to his allowing Hollywood to make PC dictated changes in bringing his book "Sum of All Fears" to the screen? I haven't seen "Sum..", but the changes I'm aware of are changing the villians from Arabs to (?), changing the camouflage for the bomb from a commercial video recorder owned by a TV...
  • Hollyweird is whitewashing Arab terrorism and we reward them

As an avid moviegoer, I love nothing better than a good political thriller. Still, I am boycotting the newest Tom Clancy movie "The Sum of All Fears." While the Ben Affleck-Morgan Freeman vehicle might be a great summertime blockbuster, I refuse to see it because of a large, ugly plot change: The book's villains were Palestinian terrorists who gain access to a nuclear device, and the movie moguls magically transformed the villains into "neo-Fascists." As a good American, I have a burning hatred of "neo-Fascists" just as much as the next guy, but the whitewashing of the book greatly angers...

Just came in from the 12:20 AM showing of Sum Of All Fears. I am going to make this short and sweet. It could possibly be the biggest waste of time and money ever put on screen. Completely full of false info in the case of these actual events and it made anyone who was on the right wing seem like they prayed for doomsday. Also made the Muslim who originally found the bomb from the shot down Israeli plane and sold it on the black market...the hero in the end because he gave up the buyer's name. I could...

BUSH OFFICIAL QUESTIONS RELEASE OF PARAMOUNT'S NUKE-SCARE 'FEARS' **Exclusive** Recent private discussions at the White House question the timing and release of PARAMOUNT's new action movie SUM OF ALL FEARS, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned -- a movie which depicts a nuclear bomb unleashed on an American sporting event! As the nation's airwaves, newspapers and websites continue to transmit actual terror threat concerns from official Washington -- recent editions of NEWSWEEK report a CIA warning of a "series of explosions using 'low charge' nuclear weapons" -- Hollywood is upping the ante and pouring the butter with its release of FEARS....
  • Tom Clancy: Sellout, or did he just lose creative control?

Has anyone caught the previews for the movie, "The Sum of All Fears"? In it, they specifically tell the audience that the evil terrorists are European neo-nazis. I refer you to Yahoo! Movies for a brief description to this effect. The only problem with this is that in the book, the terrorists responsible for blowing up the Super Bowl are Islamic Fundamentalists working out of Lebanon. So, did Clancy sell out, or sell the film rights without keeping a degree of creative control? LTS
