Tom Clancy was on Kudlow and Cramer tonight pushing his new book. I didn't see the beginning of the interview; did they ask about the changes to "Sum of All Fears" in making the movie?
I wondered, will I buy the new book, or boycott it in response to his allowing Hollywood to make PC dictated changes in bringing his book "Sum of All Fears" to the screen? I haven't seen "Sum..", but the changes I'm aware of are changing the villians from Arabs to (?), changing the camouflage for the bomb from a commercial video recorder owned by a TV station to a cigarette machine (cigarette pack?!), and (I'm not sure of this one) wasn't the bomb in Denver in the book and in Baltimore? in the movie?
Will you buy the new book?
I think I'll boycott the movie and read the book. They're almost always better, anyway.
