“There is no pain, but it feels like I am wearing a pair of gloves when I try to play" Brian Setzer, the frontman of Stray Cats, has revealed he has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that has left him unable to play guitar. The singer and guitarist, also known for his time fronting the big band revivalists The Brian Setzer Orchestra, shared the news in a post on Instagram earlier this month. “I just wanted to check in with you all,” he wrote on February 13. “Towards the end of the last Stray Cats tour I noticed that...

The winter is a rough time for stray animals, many of them die from the freezing temperatures. Thankfully, an animal lover is saving the furry creatures by providing them with a warm place to sleep. A man named Philip Rogich (also known as the Batman of Ogden), based in Ogden, Utah is building shelters from upcycled coolers for stray and feral cats to sleep during the cold season. He was inspired by a man on Facebook making these cooler shelters, and he decided to try making them too. Then he posted on Facebook asking people to give up their discarded...

A 79-year-old self-described "cat lover" has been given a dose of paw and order by local authorities, who sentenced her to spend more than a week behind bars for continually doling out munchies to the neighborhood mousers. In Garfield Heights, Ohio, it's considered a minor misdemeanor to offer food to stray cats and dogs, according to Cleveland.com. Nancy Segula, a resident of the city who has received multiple citations for feeding stray felines, was ordered by a judge last week to spend 10 days in jail, Fox 8 reports.

I already have two cats. A very old arthritic one and a recent addition just turned one. But these renters turned their cat, a gray white pawed female out into the yard and said they didn't want it anymore. They moved out with a great deal of coaxing from my lawyer owing me 2086.00 and leaving me with the cat. At first I did not want it because it tried to bite me HARD when I touched its back. Then it disappeared for 8 days and showed up today quite hungry. So next door neighbor put it in a carrier...

CLERMONT, Iowa (AP) -- The city isn't going to pussyfoot around when it comes to stray cats. The City Council has decided that anyone who feeds the cuddly creatures are aiding a nuisance. Mayor Rodney Wagner says police could photograph people who feed stray cats and violators could be sent letters warning them of the consequences and be fined. Police Chief Arthur Sullivan said people don't understand the problem. "People find those cats sweet, cuddly and lovable," he said. "It's one of those situations that you're not going to win no matter what you do." Nonetheless, Sullivan said something needs...

WILLIAMSBURG, Pa. -- On the bright side, this Blair County farm town shouldn't have much of a mouse problem.

For that, thank the cat problem.

With that, though, go the woes of solving the cat problem.

Folks in this town of 1,345 people are irked about cats roaming the streets, or at least tales of cats roaming the streets, and a proposed ordinance that would let pistol-packing police drop strays right in their tiny tracks.
