Dan Abrams ripped House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) Thursday for calling the U.S. Supreme Court “illegitimate.” Jeffries made the comments after the court ruled 6-3 to erode the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act that gave voters the ability to challenge electoral maps as “racially discriminatory.” “Today’s ruling by this illegitimate Supreme Court strikes a blow against the Voting Rights Act and is designed to undermine the ability of communities of color all across this country to elect their candidate of choice,” Jeffries said at a Wednesday press conference. President Donald Trump responded on Truth Social, calling Jeffries “a Low...

this got impossibly long and so i’m going to break it up into sections. this is section 1: theory there is an objective reality, but it can only be perceived and partaken of subjectively. we see what we expect to see, what we are told to seek, what we are taught to project and this makes the feedback loops of perception and reality into something both inescapable and unavoidable: your perceptions determine what meaning and substance you subjectively apply to the objective evidence of the world around you. (worse, it also biases which evidence you select to seek out in...

The Left is falling quiet this morning. A few places are still trying to reframe themselves as the higher ground, but it’s shaking. Their messaging, once deafening, now feels muted, brittle, defensive. Meanwhile, there is a righteous rage building — a rage that even the attempted Butler event failed to ignite. But now, it is here. The Right is rejecting the lone wolf paradigm, naming this what it is: a network, not an accident.Last night, Greg Gutfeld snapped. The man who usually laughs his way through chaos lost his composure on live TV. “We don’t care about your both sides...

If we take a look at the last five mostly peaceful assassination attempts in these United States we get the following:Attempted assassination of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) by James T. Hodgkinson, 66, at Congressional Baseball Match in June 2017. Scalise was wounded in the attempt. In May, Hodgkinson had posted: "Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It's Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”Attempted assassination of Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump by Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, in Butler, PA, in 2024. Trump was wounded in the attempt. FBI “described Crooks's activity on social networking services as antisemitic,...

(Biden on June 29, 2024): "I’ve got a lot more to say, but I’m not going to take a lot of your time. Let me close with this. Donald Trump is a genuine threat to this nation. That is not hyperbole. He’s a threat to our freedom. He’s a threat to our democracy. He is literally a threat to the America that we stand for."

Yesterday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that “it’s not for us to decide” if last week’s deadly mass shooting at Covenant School in Nashville — a shooting that left six innocent people dead — was a hate crime. The Biden administration can’t say one way or another whether a women who identified as a trans man and shot up the school she once went to after reportedly expressing her resentment toward her parents for having sent her there was motivated by hate. But you’d better believe that the White House knows hate when they see it. And where...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., recently commented on the viral clip of her speaking with Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., during the extended vote to install Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., as Speaker of the House. The congresswoman admitted to CNN anchor John Berman that the conversation between her and Gosar revealed their "alignment" on not wanting McCarthy to have the leadership role, though she declared she finds it "uncomfortable" serving with Gosar, and other MAGA-identifying members of Congress because they engage in "stochastic terrorism" against her.

"Stochastic terrorism" is the latest front on the Democrats' disinformation war. A few days ago a youth opened fire with an AR-15 in a gay nightclub called Club Q in Colorado Springs, killing five and wounding 25. The shooter was subdued in the club and eventually arrested. This isn’t the killer’s first encounter with law enforcement. He was arrested in June 2021 after threatening to bomb his mother’s house with a homemade device. The Colorado Springs Gazette reported that the district attorney’s office didn't formally charge the shooter, hence he was allowed back into society. Colorado’s Red Flag laws which...

The “Stochastic Terror” LieThe Left’s latest gambit for suppressing speech is built on preposterous grounds.I browsed the news recently only to discover that, according to a popular science magazine, I was responsible for the attempted murder of Paul Pelosi, husband to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In an opinion piece for Scientific American, writer Bryn Nelson insinuated that my factual reporting on Drag Queen Story Hour was an example of “stochastic terrorism,” which he defines as “ideologically driven hate speech” that increases the likelihood of unpredictable acts of violence. On the night of the attack, Nelson argued, I had appeared on Tucker...

A two-alarm fire caused major damage at a mosque in southwest Houston, but no one was injured in the Christmas Day blaze, officials said. The fire started around 2:45pm Friday at the Islamic Society of Greater Houston in the 1100 block of Wilcrest Drive. Restaurant owner Imran Momin said, "When I came out the smoke was pretty intense yeah." It didn't take firefighters long to knock down the fire. "When firefighters opened the rear doors, they discovered heavy fire and smoke. They began their attack cautiously at first," Deputy Chief Fernando Herrera with the Houston Fire Department said. Answering the...
