The NFL announced today that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre will be fined $50,000 for the Jenn Sterger episode. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the announcement on his Twitter account, writing that the NFL found “no violation of league policy,” during its investigation into accusations that Favre sent lewd photographs to Sterger in 2008. Aiello added that Favre’s fine stemmed from a “lack of cooperation” into the investigation. NEW YORK – Jenn Sterger's TV show has been thrown off the air. The former New York Jets hostess has been featured in "The Daily Line," but Versus has canceled the irreverent sports show for low ratings. Its run ends Thursday. Sterger manager Phil Reese tells The Associated Press on Friday the decision is "unfortunate" but "part of the business."
