With all of the media coverage lately concerning the Brett Favre sending former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger racy voicemails and pictures two years ago while he was quarterbacking the Jets, the Versus Channel cancelled her show, The Daily Line, on Friday.
It is just more bad news for Sterger, whose life has turned around for the worse since Deadspin released the story a couple of months ago and then released the actual voicemails and pictures earlier this month that Favre allegedly sent to her.
John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal sent a Tweet that the reason the show, which debuted in early April, was cancelled was because of "anemic" and declining ratings.
Sterger might have been able to save to show if she would have been willing to talk about the whole Favre drama and sexual harassment accusations on the air, which probably would have increased the ratings but she decided against it.
According to Stergers manager, Phil Reese, he told The Associated Press on Friday that the decision to cancel the show is "unfortunate" but "part of the business."
Sterger is still trying to decide whether or not she is going to cooperate and talk to NFL officials in their investigation of the allegations.
Reese has said that Sterger is leaning towards coming forward and talking with the NFL concerning the allegations.
Without Stergers statement, the NFL will probably not have any pertinent information in which to discipline Favre concerning the leagues personal conduct policy.
It will be interesting to see if Sterger does come forward or is just attempting to get a payout from Favre to hold her tongue.

The existence of pertinent information has absolutely nothing to do with how much the NFL will pusnish a player.
That’s because the punishment if for bringing bad press. And bad press has never required pertinent information.
Her fake boobs, however, are exploring numerous career options.
Next up a “classy” spread in Playboy.
The entire premise of her being on Versus was that she would wear only v-neck tight shirts while her big fake rack was on display and banter about sports topics and gossip about players activities off the field.
The same schtick when she was imployed by the Jets as a sideline reporter. Low cut tight shirt, fake boobs always on display.
She recently had her implants taken out and voila, they cancel her Versus show. Real Shocking.....
Well anyway, she had her 15 minutes and it lasted longer than a lot of other women whose talent is solely displaying their assets, so she should be pretty thankful all things considered.
Some people seem to have no shame about their perverse obsessions. You’d almost expect that they have sticky copies of old Sports Illustrated magazines laying around; and not the swimsuit issue.
I think that she did do Playboy...but I probably don’t remember it because she is not rememberable...but this begets the questions—who cares?
A handsome man hitting on a beautiful reporter....call the media...
