The video of the act was posted online by the perpetrator and found by conservative news outlets. Naturally, the mainstream press had little interest in the story, and Sen. Ben Cardin, who employed the staffer, was allowed to simply drop the issue. Keep in mind, we are talking about the same mainstream press that spent two weeks obsessing over Rep. Lauren Boebert engaging in some ill-advised heavy petting in a movie theater. Aidan Maese-Czeropski, the staffer in question, was defiant in the aftermath, claiming he was "being attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda." Yeah, I'm sure...

Nancy McEldowney, Kamala’s national security adviser, is leaving the vice-president’s office to attend to some personal matters, according to an internal memo. After serving in her role for more than a year, she’s planning her exit. McEldowney hasn’t announced her last day on the job but she said she’s ‘not rushing out the door.’She said that she is stepping down to ‘focus on some pressing personal matters.’ Is that a nuanced version of spending more time with one’s family? It sounds like that but maybe it’s something more. For those keeping track at home, she is staffer number ten to...

With rumors swirling about discontent and disarray in the office of Vice President Kamala Harris, and amid announcements from top-level staffers that they are jumping ship, one team member took to social media to assure the world that he, at least, is doing fine. But David Gins, Deputy Director for Operations for the vice president, succeeded not in quelling concerns about working for Harris, but in sparking thoughts that he posted what looked like a hostage photo. “Hi. My name is David Gins. I work for Vice President Harris on behalf of the American people as Deputy Director for Operations...

For Kamala Harris, she must be uttering the rich lady's lament right about now: you just can't get good staff anymore. This time, a big one has flown the coop, a veritable whale of a woman in significance, spokeswoman Symone Sanders. She's by far the highest-ranking Kamala official now to get the heck out of Dodge. Her exit follows a lot of other exits, which I wrote about here. And apparently, it's not going to be the last one. These guys plan to leave after Sanders leaves. Why would she do that? Two reasons stand out. One, working for Kamala Harris is hell.Back...
