A group of teachers at a New Jersey high school sparked outrage by wearing Gulf of America T-shirts to class — in what some have called an attempt to bully Latino students in the majority Hispanic school. Donned by a small cluster of Belleville High School teachers on a recent dress-down day, the shirts are a reference to President Trump’s executive order declaring the Gulf of Mexico should instead be called the Gulf of America, NJ.com reported. But the overt political statement has others crying foul in the suburban township of about 35,000 perched 15 miles west of Manhattan. “Our...

T-shirts defending girls’ sports were condemned in the San Francisco Chronicle as the "transphobic" contender for the next "MAGA hat." SF Chronicle’s columnist and cultural critic Soleil Ho wrote an opinion piece lamenting the rise of what she calls "anti-trans activewear." The article, headlined, "Is this the next MAGA hat? Transphobic apparel is the new hotness," cited T-shirts reading "Save Girls’ Sports" and "It’s Common Sense. XX ≠ XY." Two female cross-country athletes at a high school in Riverside, Calif., say they wore the shirts after a transgender athlete, who didn’t consistently attend practices or meet key varsity eligibility requirements,...

**SNIP** The president’s reelection team this week released a new line of products bearing the phrase, “Together, We Will Defeat Trump. Again.” On Wednesday, the “Late Night” comedian held his head in his hands. “Oh, Democrats, why are you so bad at this stuff?” he asked. “That is not a slogan, that’s like an affirmation you tape on your bathroom mirror.” “Slogans don’t have multiple punctuation marks in them. A slogan is like, ’Let’s go,’ or, ‘Vote or die,’” he continued. “This is a sentence so awkward that you think, ‘Oh it must spell out a cool acronym,’ and then...

A shipment of shirts for the Uniqlo casualwear chain was blocked from entering the U.S. in January on suspicion they were made with forced labor in China's Xinjiang region, it was revealed Wednesday, prompting a denial from Japanese parent company Fast Retailing. A Customs and Border Protection document dated May 10 shows that the agency confiscated the shirts at the Port of Los Angeles, suspecting they were made by Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The seizure highlights how allegations of Chinese human rights abuses against the Uyghur ethnic minority in Xinjiang have become a risk for Japanese companies. The U.S....

Turning away a legal plea literally wrapped in the American flag, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to intervene in a controversial case involving a South Bay high school's discipline of students who chose to wear flag-adorned shirts during a 2010 Cinco de Mayo celebration. The high court's action left intact a federal appeals court ruling last year that found Live Oak High School officials had the legal right to order students wearing the American flag shirts to turn them inside out or go home.

RUSH: Oh, come on. It was everything we knew it would be. It became everything we knew it would be, and that is attacking talk radio, attacking Sarah Palin. We knew. It was utterly predictable. I tell you, the reason why they waited as long to do this was they were waiting for polling data. The polling data shows the American people do not associate political rhetoric with anything that happened in this incident. That's what they were waiting on. If the polling data had been different the speech would have been different, but because the polling data says the...
