Twenty-four years after Abed al-Aziz Salha waved his bloody hands triumphantly following a brutal lynch on two IDF soldiers, the IDF has evened the score against him. In October 2000, Salha lynched Vadim Nurzhitz and Yossi Avrahami, two reservists traveling in Ramallah. Salha was later arrested, but he was freed as part of the 2011 "Shalit deal," along with 1,027 other convicted terrorists, among them Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. This week, 24 years after the bloody murder, Salha was eliminated during an IDF operation in Gaza. According to a joint IDF and ISA statement, Salha was eliminated in an air...

Arabs who work in the Hevron store owned by the family of Hani Jaber, a terrorist murderer released in the Shalit deal, attacked a young Jewish woman Saturday. In response, Jews threw rocks at the store and at Arabs. Jaber was one of three Arabs who ambushed a Jewish yeshiva student aged 22, Erez Shmuel, in 1993. They attacked him with knives in a Hevron alleyway that is now known as Simtat Erez in his memory. Nationalists in Hevron told Arutz Sheva that Jews gathered near the store during the Sabbath after the girl was attacked. At a certain point,...

One factor that made the Shalit exchange deal possible was Israel’s crackdown on Hamas prisoners, Channel 2 news reported Tuesday. The worsening of conditions led to pressure on the Hamas leadership to sign a deal quickly, according to the report. Another factor was Hamas’ understanding that Israel did not intend to give in regarding the release of terrorist leaders, or the deportation of select murderers to foreign countries.

Israel was concerned Tuesday night that the United Nations would encourage terrorists who are supposed to remain outside Israel and Gaza to return to their families, after UN Human Rights Council head Navi Pillay said that requiring the terrorists to relocate from their original homes was against international law. Pillay said that the Council may interview terrorists to determine whether or not they willingly agreed to leave their original homes. "It was with a sense of great relief that we have received news of the agreement to exchange prisoners. We do however have concerns regarding reports that hundreds of Palestinian...
