You cite a USA/Gallop poll showing Senator Allen up by 3 points. It looks suspiciously like the USA poll from 8/21/2006. Yesterday morning, you mention bot Senator Allen and James Webb are tied. You did not report at all on the Zogby poll showing Senator Allen with an 11 point lead. Your reporting concerning the local polls is dishonest. But who cares about honesty as long you get the ratings. I will mention to all concerning your dishonest election coverage.

For those who wish to see government spend less, these are frustrating times. A bill that cut spending by a minuscule amount passed Congress earlier this year by the slimmest of margins. The Senate is undermining the cuts in President Bush's new budget while voting to expand home heating subsidies. Reform of the budget process has gotten no traction. Other than the plan released by Republican Study Committee last week, there is little for limited-government types to cheer.

Last Monday or Tuesday I heard George Allen talking on the John And Ken Show in Los Angeles. Since Allen is considered by many to be the Conservative front runner for the Presidency in 2008, I thought I would type here what I heard Allen's positions were regarding Illegal Immigration so people in the future can use it to determine whether they want to vote for him in the primaries. What Allen Said was that it was "ridiculous" that the we are "shaking down" old ladys and children at ports and airports but we are continuing to leave the borders...
