You cite a USA/Gallop poll showing Senator Allen up by 3 points. It looks suspiciously like the USA poll from 8/21/2006. Yesterday morning, you mention bot Senator Allen and James Webb are tied. You did not report at all on the Zogby poll showing Senator Allen with an 11 point lead. Your reporting concerning the local polls is dishonest. But who cares about honesty as long you get the ratings. I will mention to all concerning your dishonest election coverage.
Yesterday while driving in, they report Seantor Allen and James Webb tied in the polls. Later during the day - Rush, Hannity, and Mark Levin cite the Zogby poll showing Senator Allen up by 11 points. No mention on WMAL news. This morning, WMAL news reports Allen ahead of Webb - by only 3, calling it a statistical dead heat! This from USA Today/Gallop which showed the same margin from 08212006. WMAL also states this poll shows OMally and Cardin with double diget leads over Erhlich and Steele.
I am beginning to think like a lot of Freepers that these polls are bogus and downright decietful.
On Wednesday afternoon, I drove up to Baltimore to see the doctor. On the way up there and on the way down, all I saw were Ehrlich and Steele signs. I did not see a Cardin or O'Malley sign until I was back in Calvert County. I have yet to see a Cardin commercial on televsion. I have seen only one O'Malley ad and that was just a couple days ago. This is like the Dixie Chicks having their album debut number one while their concerts are being cancelled and radio stations not playing their songs. There is a lot of manipulation going on.
I will be out there to vote this November. Any Freeper living in the Calvert County area, do not forget to vote for Ron "The Right" Miller, Laura Martin, David Hale as well as for Steele, Erhlich, and Rolle.
For any lurking DUmmies, remember - you guys vote the next day on Wednesday!
WMAL news department is pretty liberal.
Or you could do as Texas voters do and push the straight ticket button. The only downside of that is that Democrats have switched to Republican to get elected...but they are still Democrats.
Plenty of O'Malley ads and signs around.
Never underestimate the stupidity of a large chunk of the Maryland populace.
Cardin and Steele were asked how they wopuld vote on the Flag Amendment. Cardin said in writing he would vote against it. While Steele stated he would vote for it.
We needed only one vote in the last Congress to pass that Amendment. Steele could be that vote.
Vote Steele.
Maryland should have at least one Senator who will stand up for our flag . Dont expect the little dyke ( Mikulski) to stand up for anything American
Man, this sounds like an endorsement or a commercial.
Anyway, after discovering FR, I became much more informed and knowledgable about candidates - especially the local ones. Sometimes, being a political junkie, I get exasperated by the ommission of the news outlets.
My two favorite talk radio hosts for sheer information and entertainment value are Rush and Mark Levin. I do not get to listen to Rush much, but when I get home, I fire up the PC and listen to Mark Levin.
I do not think that amendment will ever be passed. I think it is a game in the Senate. The Repubs will chose one guy to vote against it and he will be the villian of the week. Then they moan and groan if only the had one more Senator, one more vote. This is just my gut feeling. I have seen this with other close votes, too. Always one vote off. Happens too many times to be a coincidence.
The reason for the fictional poll numbers are so that whrn Republicans pick up seats in November , the Dems and media have a built in excuse to cry foul!
Pre made voter fraud cover story.
More importantly, registration deadlines for all states are approaching. Get your friends, family, and like-minded co-workers registered ASAP!!!!!
Actually, they haven't mentioned the latest Zogby (Allen +11), Rasmussen (Allen +6) or Survey USA (Allen +6) polls at all. All they want is a horse race (and to bolster Webb.)
