A second assassination attempt on the former President, and the feebs knew about him again. In fact, there are dozens of questions being raised, some conspiracy-driven, but many legit that should be answered under oath: "known wolf" on federal radar for previous threats; interviews with Newsweek and the NY Times as some sort of "recruiter" for Americans and other foreign fighters to travel to Ukraine; ties to the Azov Brigade in the Ukraine, a hotbed of nazi-ideology; flew from Hawaii to Florida a few days ago and managed to obtain a rifle in that time - even as a convicted...

Two women in the ballpark (White Sox) stands were hurt in the incident in August 2023. Video from that day shows the reaction as the two women realized they had been shot. In defiance of the laws of physics, two bullets fired within a second, traveled in exactly the same parabolic arc for nearly a mile, surmounting a one-hundred-plus foot wall. Said bullets then dropped at a precipitous angle (unexplainable by ballistic science by the way) with enough generated force to (A) penetrate the flesh of one victim, and (B) enough re-entry heat to leave a scorch mark on the...

Despite outpouring of grief for slain officer, some wounds persist and may be beyond healing The bagpipes are put away, the District and Unit standards furled and returned to Offices across the city, the dress blues placed back into closets with the sincerest hopes that they are aired out only for Fall and Winter Inspections. The healing begins.... Or does it? Sad to say, we don’t see it happening. Officer French’s death laid bare a festering and infected wound that will defy any sort of mending in the short term. Chicago’s political class, along with their national counterparts, is at...

. Even as the Derek Chauvin case was fresh in memory — the reading of the verdict in a Minneapolis courtroom, the shackling of the former police officer, the jubilation at what many saw as justice in the death of George Floyd — even then, blood flowed on America’s streets. And some of that blood was shed at the hands of law enforcement. At least six people were fatally shot by officers across the United States in the 24 hours after jurors reached a verdict in the murder case against Chauvin . The roll call of the dead is distressing:...

A long-running blog about Chicago policing is no longer visible to the public, and many people want to know what’s going on. We know this is true because our inboxes started filling with questions about Second City Cop’s status when their site became restricted Sunday. So, what did happen? Did we mention that we have absolutely no idea? The possibilities range from innocuous to whatever the opposite of innocuous is. Most basically, somebody might have screwed up, clicked the wrong settings option, and sent their whole site private. If that’s not it, we turn to the assumption that the site...

The driver told CBS 2 the group of teens actually had a pitchfork, which came within inches of his two terrified passengers. “Who knows what would have happened if they were able to pull us out of the vehicle? It seem like they wanted blood,” he said. “It’s terrifying just to think that there’s just basically a school a piranhas just roaming the streets of Chicago, and we don’t know where they’re going to show up.” Piranhas? More like hyenas.

WGN Investigates has learned Chicago police officers have concerns the city has given them old, ineffective hand sanitizer that potentially puts them at risk. The city distributed thousands of bottles of “Safe-Tec” hand sanitizer to officers at roll calls Wednesday morning. Some officers who thought the bottles looked old, contacted the company. In an email obtained by WGN Investigates, a “Safe-Tec” sales manager said the hand sanitizer hasn’t been manufactured since 2012. A city spokesperson insists the sanitizer is effective as long as the bottle wasn't opened in the years since it was produced. A Chicago police spokesperson blamed a...

This was amusing, amazing and just an all around joy to watch: In a speech to police chiefs from across the country, President Donald Trump on Monday criticized Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson for skipping the event, saying “more than anyone else, this person should be here, because maybe he could learn something.” Johnson last week said he would not attend the president’s speech at the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference at McCormick Place, “because the values of the people of Chicago are more important than anything that he would have to say.” “That’s a very insulting statement...

And it's cheap, too. $10,000. And you get to pretend to be the victim, too.
