Strong, credible allegations of high-level criminal activity can bring down a government. When the government lacks an effective, fact-based defense, other techniques must be employed. The success of these techniques depends heavily upon a cooperative, compliant press and a mere token opposition party. Dummy up. If it's not reported, if it's not news, it didn't happen.Wax indignant. This is also known as the "How dare you?" gambit. Characterize the charges as "rumors" or, better yet, "wild rumors." If, in spite of the news blackout, the public is still able to learn about the suspicious facts, it can only be through...

CNN political commentator Van Jones said Monday on “Erin Burnett OutFront” that 2024 hopeful Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) wrapping Pride Month campaign video shows he was “worse than” former President Donald Trump. Jones said, “It’s a disgraceful decision on the part of the Supreme Court. But DeSantis should be ashamed of himself. Anybody who is jumping up and down saying hey, anybody but Trump. We want a Ron DeSantis. We think Ron DeSantis can beat Trump. We love Ron DeSantis. take those words back, because this guy is worse than Trump. Ron DeSantis is worse than Donald Trump.”

On Monday, Mexico’s president urged American citizens not to support GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis due to his state’s implementation of an immigration bill. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he believes the law will lead to discrimination against illegal immigrants. Effective July 1, the Florida law imposes penalties on employers who hire illegal immigrants and strengthens DeSantis’ program for relocating migrants while curtailing social services for immigrants without permanent legal status. “We could not remain silent,” said Pres. López Obrador. “Not one vote for those who despise migrants!”

ROCHESTER — Former President Donald Trump has re-upped his endorsement of conservative write-in state legislative candidate Adam Steen in the final week before Election Day. In a new prerecorded robocall, Trump again attacks incumbent Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, calling Vos “a horrendous RINO,” shorthand for Republican In Name Only. The former president tells voters to write-in Steen and calls Vos “an absolute disaster … Vos has really let you down on voter integrity and just about everything else.”

They are doing it all wrong. The UN, WEF, and other Satanic organizations are pushing the world to eat bugs, worms, maggots, and other insects instead of real food. They have been encountering overwhelming resistance because their messaging is completely wrong. Instead to trying to convert the world population to eat bugs and stuff by government edict, they should use the tools that have proved to be effective in the past. WEF, UN and others should enlist and hire Hollywood elites, top athletes, famous politicians, and wealthy people to consume the bugs and stuff at exclusive functions. The Marxist State...

The head of Dominion Voting Systems, John Poulos, revealed he broke down in tears as he watched Rudy Giuliani's infamous 'sweaty' press conference, where the former mayor of New York accused the company of rigging the 2020 election. As a bead of sweat mixed with hair dye dripped down his face, Giuliani, working as a personal attorney for former President Trump, said in the November 2020 news conference that Dominion 'specializes in voter fraud.' Oh, my God!' Poulos screamed as he heard the accusations, according to an interview he gave to the New York Times Magazine. 'I can't believe what's...

As the editors of The Weekly Standard suggested last week, Congress could pass a resolution of censure for the president’s conduct and his subsequent comments. Congress can also take steps with concrete consequences: • Pass legislation imposing new sanctions on Russia in the event of any future attacks on our democratic process. Dare President Trump to veto it. Override him if he does. • Hold hearings that would include in-depth testimony from the national security team on the Russian attacks, putting the case on the record (again), while putting pressure on members of the administration to correct the president’s comments....

The holiday season poses a psychological conundrum. Its defining sentiment, of course, is joy—yet the strenuous effort to be joyous seems to make many of us miserable. It's hard to be happy in overcrowded airport lounges or while you're trying to stay civil for days on end with relatives who stretch your patience. So to cope with the holidays, magazines and others are advising us to "think positive"—the same advice, in other words, that Norman Vincent Peale, author of "The Power of Positive Thinking," was dispensing six decades ago. (During holidays, Peale once suggested, you should make "a deliberate effort...

Has Cuba's septuagenarian dictator finally gone senile? Fidel Castro is doing everything possible to secure the re-election of his archenemy, President Bush. The crucial Cuban-American voting bloc in crucial Florida has lost some of its enthusiasm for Bush, but Castro seems determined to repair the damage by directing one rant after another at the president. Today the dictator accused Bush yet again of planning to invade his tropical gulag. 'Crazy' "Do not try crazy adventures such as surgical strikes or wars of attrition using sophisticated techniques because you could lose control of the situation," Castro said this morning in a...
