On Thursday, Nancy Pelosi received an official challenge to her leadership of the House Democratic Caucus. But never fear, as she has an important ally in her fight: House Republicans. In a post on their site, the National Republican Congressional Committee endorsed Mrs. Pelosi as minority leader, saying she was invaluable in putting the chamber in Republican hands.

What is the political back-story to the Pacific Free Trade Agreement? I was not following this story, and I see that it is tearing Congressional Democrats away from Obama. Specifically: 1. Why is the Pacific Free Trade Agreement such a high priority for Obama's Second Term? 2. Why did so many Democrats oppose Obama on this bill? 3. Why did so many Republicans support Obama on this bill?

Yesterday the Republican National Committee called asking me to become a lifetime supporter. I explained that I will no longer provide financial support until G.W. stops the flood of illegal aliens crossing our borders. The caller responded that no one knows what G.W. is really doing because of the media bias. I agreed with some of that statement, however, I explained that I do not base my opinions on what the media tells me. The caller said that she did not want to listen any longer and hung up on me. Duh! What a way for the GOP to gain...
