Four to five mortar shells were fired from the Gaza Strip into the Eshkol regional council Wednesday night hitting an area resident. He suffered light wounds to his upper body. The owner of one of two West Oakland corner markets vandalized last week for selling alcohol to African Americans was kidnapped shortly before his store burned in an arson fire Monday, police said.
