Former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) said Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “The Balance” that a civil war was “going to happen” over former President Donald Trump’s indictments. Eric Bolling asked, “We’ve talked about the two tiered justice system but when you see it happening, when you see the former president being fingerprinted, having to show up turn himself in. You see the mug shots of the other seven or eight who turned themselves in already. Do you have concern for the country as I do?” Palin said, “Yeah absolutely. I mean, I think those who are conducting this travesty and creating...

Chris Christie locked horns with Roland Martin on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday, when the former New Jersey governor was called out for his role in bringing Donald Trump to power and, therefore, the establishment of the future character of the Republican party. The two political analysts discussed Trump’s still strong influence over the GOP even after losing last year’s election. Christie said that by tying themselves to Trump and his continued false claims that the election was stolen from him, Republicans are endangering their long-term viabiilty as a political party. “I’m on a course to make sure my party remains...

Triumph have designed the new bra to appeal to Japan's busy golfing women. The green corset-style garment can be removed and unrolled to create a 1.5m-long putting mat. When the user sinks a putt into one of the cups, a built-in speaker pumps out a congratulatory "Nice shot!".

WASHINGTON — Senate Finance Committee Democrats have rejected a GOP amendment that would have required a health overhaul bill to be available online for 72 hours before the committee votes. Republicans argued that transparency is an Obama administration goal. They also noted that their constituents are demanding that they read bills before voting. Democrats said it was a delay tactic that could have postponed a vote for weeks.

At the University of Rhode Island, students placed 300-pound blocks of ice around their campus and let them melt to symbolize how global warming is affecting polar ice caps. At Missouri State University, students will pile 20 tons of coal on campus to show how much of this air-polluting fossil fuel is needed to power their school for an hour. At UCSD, young conservationists are preparing a performance-art show that will feature a faux polar bear in an 8-foot-tall “electric” chair. It's a creative riff on the theme of climate change harming the bears. The activities are part of the...

WASHINGTON, April 4, 2007 – Since 2002, Project Prayer Flag’s goal has been to put an American flag into the pocket of every American servicemember fighting in the global war on terrorism. “For us it’s very simple,” Shawn Black, founder of the Irvine, Calif.-based organization, said. “We’ve shipped over 220,000 (flags) now to servicemembers.” Those miniature American flags come as part of the “Patriot Packs” the group sends to servicemembers, Black said. The packs also include a letter or a thank you card. Project Prayer Flag is a member of the Defense Department’s America Supports You program, which highlights...

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service employees were offered financial incentives to push immigration applications through the system quickly and eliminate a backlog of nearly 4 million such applications in time to meet a presidential deadline, the Daily Bulletin has learned. Employees and internal documents also reveal that the backlog is not actually gone, but that millions of applications in process have been reclassified to fall outside the backlog definition and help the agency meet an October deadline set by President Bush in 2003. The pressure to reduce the backlog, combined with the promise of bonuses for faster work, led to...

America is a country of Closers. Remember, "Show me the money"? Remember, "Where's the beef?" Americans want to see results. Somewhere in France at the time you are reading this article, French students are protesting the proposed reforms of the guaranteed two-year job retention program. I can't think of anything more anti-American than guaranteeing, say a car sales job to an individual that can't close the customer.

Imagine, if you will, that a Democrat President nominated a judge whose constitutional and policy views were, by any measure, on the extreme left fringes of American society. Let’s assume, for example, that this nominee had expressed strong sympathy for the position that there is a constitutional right to prostitution as well as a constitutional right to polygamy.
