You'd think this would be catbird-seat time for Bill Clinton... His ideological style of Democrats -- the moderates -- are winning primaries and special elections these days in Congress. And unlike President Obama, Clinton and his presidency are remembered for its prosperity, including all the jobs that were created. Theoretically, that's something Democrats should be able to point to with pride, given all the embarrassment the Obama record presents in stark contrast to President Trump. But somehow, that's not happening. Democrats are moving away from Bill Clinton like a bad smell.

Well-wisher ... John Lydon famously railed against the monarchy in Sex Pistols anthem God Save The Queen By SEAN HAMILTON AS snarling punk idol Johnny Rotten, singer John Lydon famously railed against the monarchy in The Sex Pistols' Seventies anthem God Save The Queen. So you might not expect him to join well-wishers queuing to congratulate Prince William and Kate. Here he tells SEAN HAMILTON why he wishes them well. WHEN I heard William had popped the question to Kate, I had a nice cup of tea for them. Later on, I might even put some bucks fizz...

Dear Eldrick: First, sorry to hear about the second most famous “crash” last week. (I’m sure in retrospect, you wish you were with those other “crashers” at the White House, rather than being eased out of your Escalade at 2 in the morning.) Second, I know you and the lovely Elin have been ducking the local fuzz in terms of elaborating on what happened and you tried to extinguish the fire with yesterday’s half-baked statement but... Third, as much as you don’t want to hear it, your only choice now is to take the “penalty stroke” and fess up about...

Share Send to a Friend Print Tell Us What You Think To reach the next generation of Americans, the conservative movement needs Internet-savvy marketers and a "hip-to-be-square" attitude modeled on President Reagan and William F. Buckley, Weekly Standard blogger and Fox News contributor Mary Katharine Ham said Monday. Speaking at a discussion about the future of the conservative movement with Young President's Club members, she argued that young conservatives have work to do to strengthen their generation's commitment to conservative ideas. Ham said she was optimistic about the rising generation of conservative leaders, such as the Iraq War veterans who...

Moscow officials will open a public-relations shop and launch media offensives in foreign countries as they embark on a $27 million, three-year campaign to combat Cold War bias and bolster the city's image abroad. The campaign will also include several million dollars for hosting concerts, conventions, meetings and other events in Moscow; holding pro-Moscow events in international venues; and researching the city's PR problems. Foreign journalists covering Moscow will also be courted by city officials, and ties will be strengthened with Russians living abroad. The effort comes at the same time that federal authorities are looking to boost Russia's reputation....
