Want to know how Republicans can win in 2024? By taking a few pages out of the Democrat playbook, that's how! You also need strong, principled and fearless leaders running your local Republican party. Not a bunch of spineless RINOs. But really courageous go-getters who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work that's required to take on the well-oiled democrat election machine. Here's some advice from the most unlikely of places, deep blue Connecticut, where Republicans did exactly that, and won. It started nearly two years ago when hundreds of energized Republicans from Greenwich, CT,...

The Republican Party of Arizona has filed a lawsuit to enforce a state law requiring a hand count of votes by precinct. For the 2020 general election, additional polling places or "voting centers" were set up throughout Maricopa County allowing voters from different precincts to cast a ballot. The Republican Party of Arizona is asking for a court order to direct Maricopa County to follow the state statute.

The Trump administration is off to a rocky start, as every week seems to bring new turmoil and drama. However, it is important to remember how shockingly unlikely this presidency was in the first place.Exhibit A: Twitter/@HuffingtonPost Since Trump went from nearly zero chance of becoming Leader of the Free World to launching missiles at our enemies, one is left to ask: what trends led to this fate for Democrats?Ryne Rohla at Decision Desk HQ set out to model American voting patterns, not just on a national or state level, but by burrowing down to the most localized, nuanced metric...

Trump will win if we get out the vote.

In a better world, this media whirlwind would end with an admission that an honest mistake had been made and everyone would let it drop. In the world we live in, so much emotion has been invested in the narrative that an average joe was cheated out of his opportunity to cast a vote for Trump that that narrative has to be salvaged somehow. Especially now that it’s been at the top of the Drudge Report. This weekend Lindsey claimed he was duly elected as a delegate to the state Republican convention but had been barred from the proceedings by...

Clinton wins precinct with lucky ace By Ben Kamisar s Hillary Clinton battles Bernie Sanders in Saturday's Nevada Democratic caucus, she got help from an unlikely source – a lucky ace. In Las Vegas fashion, ties among caucus-goers are settled by pulling from a deck of cards. The higher number wins, and card ties are broken by suit. In Precinct 10, Clinton drew an ace while Sanders drew a six, according to a tweet from a Wall Street Journal reporter. That, the paper reported, gave Clinton three delegates to Sanders' two from that precinct.

In the Iowa Democratic party's chaotic attempt to report caucus results on Monday night, the results in at least one precinct were unilaterally changed by the party as it attempted to deal with the culmination of a rushed and imperfect process overseeing the first-in-the-nation nominating contest. In Grinnell Ward 1, the precinct where elite liberal arts college Grinnell College is located, 19 delegates were awarded to Bernie Sanders and seven were awarded to Hillary Clinton on caucus night. However, the Iowa Democratic party decided to shift one delegate from Sanders to Clinton on the night and did not notify precinct...

“In the years since the Florida issue in the 2000 presidential election, there’s been increasing interest in how election officials get their jobs and how they do their jobs,” Chapin said. “Most recently, in the wake of a presidential commission report, there’s been a push to think a lot more broadly about the notion of professionalism or professionalization in the field of election administration.” A Connecticut official wants to require formal training for the state’s election administrators to try to avoid another election where voters have trouble casting their ballots. Denise Merrill, Connecticut’s secretary of state, pitched a plan in...

This post is written in anger and frustration. Angry that we continue to follow the Republican Party’s elite ignorance. A party that continues to pull defeat from the jaws of victory characterized by pompous fools who fulfill the sterotype built by the left. Frustrated that the reality of politics is this: There will be no third party capable of competing with the coalition constructed by the dems. As a result, true conservatives MUST take steps to irradicate the ignorance of the Republican Party while still adhering to the core values of our forefathers (beliefs that I discovered are considered extreme...

This is the first year I've been canvassing a precinct and I must say it's been an adventure. I'm getting to know my neighborhood, my neighbors and the vibe of the voting public. As the old saying goes, you meet some of the most "interesting" people. Reactions range from smiles, enthusiasm, blank poker faces, war stories from vets, "huh?" to a the rare "get off my property whippersnapper!!!" I'm canvassing for Deb Fischer (NE, US Senate) and it's been a blast. 95% positive with lots of good reactions. What are your canvassing stories?

DETROIT – A gunman opened fire inside a Detroit police precinct on Sunday, wounding four officers including a commander before he was shot and killed by police, authorities said. The gunman walked in through the precinct's revolving door around 4:20 p.m. with a pistol grip shotgun and opened fire, Sgt. Todd Eby, who was sitting at his desk in the precinct at the time of the shooting, told the Detroit Free Press. He said officers shot back at the gunman, killing him.

THE MOST POWERFUL OFFICE IN THE LAND - THE COMMITTEEMEN MOST PEOPLE ASSUME that they get to choose their party candidate who runs for office by voting in the primaries. Have you ever wondered who chooses the candidates that run in the primaries? And who decides the requirements of those candidates! THE CANDIDATES ARE CHOSEN by the special interest groups who in return will do their will for campaign money and then the party bosses dictate to the precinct committeemen who the party is going to support in return for political favors. So, you see before you even get to...

* To change things, we must change the laws. * To change the laws, we must change the people who make them. * To get elected, your candidate must be on the ballot. * To get on the November ballot you must win the Primary. * To win the Primary, you must get the support of people who make endorsements in the Primary, who reliably vote in the Primary, and who get out the vote of others in the Primary. Those people are the Precinct Committeemen. Therefore, Precinct Committeeman is the most powerful office in the world because Precinct Committeemen...

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Were ethical lines crossed when the city purchased the property that will be the future site of the new west police precinct? One concerned citizen thinks so and is taking his complaint to the Tennessee Ethics Commission Related: Watch This Story His question about the property comes down to who owned it, a familiar name on the trust with Metro ties, and a price tag he says is way too high. Mike Peden believes something isn't right when it comes to the old Ford dealership on Charlotte Pike. Metro just bought it to become the future site...

We've all seen calls for a third party (which would be disastrous I think, given the lack of success third parties have had since 1860) and countering calls for taking control of the Republican Party. But what has been distinctly missing is any idea of how to do either of these things. I'm not going to bother about how to form a third party, as I think it would be at best a waste of time. Instead, I'm going to present an idea and a website that gives concrete instructions on how to start to take control of the Republican...

I firmly believe today that former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell's Conservative Resurgence Plan was the best thing to come out of the race for the RNC Chairmanship earlier this year. With its focus on precinct-level organization, it not only provided the best blueprint for rebuilding the Party in locales where it has completely collapsed but also the often neglected aspect of strengthening it where it's strong so the GOP can be competitive again in every part of the nation. Blackwell promised that, as RNC Chairman, he would spend unprecedented amounts of money and resources to rebuild the...
