Today I was proven wrong(its not the first time nor will it be the last). Jim Geraghty posted of a source who ..tells me that the most recent internal poll of the Scott Brown campaign shows the Republican winning by... 11 percentage points. I'm getting the sense that the folks hearing this are almost a little incredulous, but it seems every demographic and key group is breaking to Brown in the past day or two. For weeks, Brown and everyone around him has said they will campaign and work as if they're 30 percentage points down. But it seems like...

If you believe the Democratic ideologues, their policies are perfect and so is their President. There is no way that Americans could turn against either. That is, unless you believe Rasmussen. Judged by Rasmussen America has issues with both the POTUS and his party's policies. Democrats believe that Rasmussen, who is acknowledged as one of the more accurate political pollsters, is either inaccurate or the purposely biased. They whine that Rasmussen's polls constantly report numbers that are about 5% lower than other polls,which is generally true because Rasmussen measures likely voters, other pollsters measure all adults.

Before we get rolling on this week's column, a point of personal privilege: I held off this column for one day to include the results of the California recall election. Almost two months ago I predicted the results of this election in "Nuts and Bolts in California." It turned out exactly as I expected – Davis got a lower proportion of the vote running against himself than Schwarzenegger got in the 135-person race to replace Davis.
