The Osceola County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Giovanni Alcaraz rang multiple doorbells and tried to break into homes in a Poinciana neighborhood Monday night, leaving explicit surprises on some of the doorbell cams. A Village of Poinciana woman was arrested early Monday morning after a booze-filled brawl on a lanai. Jean Dorothy Pultorak, 65, was arrested on a felony charge of domestic battery by strangulation at about 2 a.m. by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. An 86-year-old man living in the home was awoken and discovered Pultorak involved in an altercation with another woman on the enclosed lanai of the home. Both women appeared to be intoxicated. POINCIANA, Fla. (AP) - Two people in Florida were arrested after one of them made a 911 call to get help with moving their belongings from a home they were burglarizing, authorities said. Deputies responded to a home Saturday after a 911 call was made but nobody spoke, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said. At the home, the deputies concluded that nobody lived there, but they found a male suspect and his girlfriend inside the home after entering it through an unlocked door.

Detectives said they believe Edith Mecalla, who was a mother of 11 and a grandmother of 50, was targeted by Moise O. Opont, 17, at her home. Opont raped and murdered her Sunday before the victim's granddaughter spotted him and he ran out the home's back door, investigators said. Opont was charged Thursday. The boy's father, Rev.
