Former adviser to Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, Peter Daou, posed a question to the twitterverse. He asked for one good reason why one person should have a billion dollars.

I would tell Daou that the person worked hard, likely took some significant risks, or perhaps had an extraordinary idea.

Peter Daou, a former top adviser to Hillary Clinton, ripped some Democrats as "rape apologists" for attacking MSNBC host Chris Hayes over his decision to cover Tara Reade's sexual assault allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden. "If you think only the GOP is responsible for this topsy turvy world, look no further than #FireChrisHayes trending because @chrislhayes had the journalistic integrity to cover an important #MeToo story against a Democrat," Daou tweeted Thursday. "This level of rape apology from Dems is APPALLING." Daou's comments came after #FireChrisHayes trended on Twitter in response to his coverage of Reade's allegations.

Karen Monahan, the woman accusing Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse, responded to a Twitter user on Monday who asked if Democrats believe Monahan’s allegations, saying they don’t, and that she’s been threatened and isolated from her own party. The user was following up on a tweet about Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault. Peter Daou, a Democratic strategist and former advisor to Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, tweeted on Monday that Ford will be “attacked, smeared, and demonized” and that people must “BELIEVE WOMEN.”

Liberals are getting crushed by the right’s agitprop, and Verrit will not save them. Democrats, and the center-left more broadly, are obsessed with numbers games. They are animated more than anything by facts, by a consensus reached among themselves that they possess an exclusive monopoly on empirical reason. They blurt out facts and stats among one another, devoid of any context but the conviction that if God is not on their side, then reason is, and so long as that’s the case they’re bound to win. It is no surprise, then, that when the world’s most thankless Clinton hype man,...

Peter Daou, the prickly pro-Clinton operative, has launched a propaganda rag so shameless it would make Kim Jong Un blush. Who would buy stock in a twice-defeated presidential candidate? If the candidate under question is Hillary Clinton, that zealous buyer would be Peter Daou, one-time rocker, seasoned political blogger, former campaign adviser to John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, ambitious litigant, propagandist and internet entrepreneur. A couple of days ago, Daou launched his self-funded Verrit.com, a slavishly pro-Clinton site (endorsed by Hillary!) to carry on her failed crusade. The derision greeting Verrit is so universal it inspires sympathy for Daou, as...

Contrary to the furious spin from Hillary Clinton’s adversaries in the media and Republican Party, FBI Director James Comey did not undercut Hillary’s truthfulness on her State Department emails. In fact, his statement and testimony affirm that Hillary has been honest about the email issue from day one. Here are the facts, not the spin. “We have no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI.” — James Comey On various occasions over the past fifteen months, Hillary has said that she did not send or receive emails containing classified information or any material marked as classified. This, to the...

Introducing Verrit, a new effort to organize Clinton supporters and arm them in social media fights Hillary Clinton is allegedly at the center of another cyber attack — except this time it involves a startup that’s trying to become something of a social network for her political supporters. The saga began Sunday night when Clinton — to the apparent surprise of her followers — took to Twitter to offer her personal endorsement of a new, relatively unknown website called Verrit. I'm excited to sign up for @Verrit, a media platform for the 65.8 million! Will you join me and sign...

[Full title: "Organization Tied To David Brock Used Taxpayer Money From Illicit Israeli Political Intervention To Fund Clinton Campaign"]A case of US governmental meddling in the political affairs of a foreign ally previously investigated by Congress appears to have also been part of a scheme to launder taxpayer money and use it to fund the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, a crowdsourced investigation online has revealed. The effort has revealed that organizations tied to high ranking members of Shareblue and its holding company conspired with John Kerry’s Department of State to use taxpayer funds in an effort to unseat Benjamin...

In a recent article posted at truthout.org, Phillip Butler makes a case for the arrest of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld for crimes against the U.S. Constitution. Butler is a veteran military pilot and was a POW in Vietnam for 2,855 days. Since his repatriation in 1973, he has earned a PhD in Sociology and according to his author bio, "he mentors business and organization leaders and is a community activist." His article is well-written and thorough, using the Third Geneva Convention and its rules regarding the interrogation of POWs as the basis for his assertions. In...

The group looking to boot the United Nations out of the U.S. is now blasting the global body for hiring aides to former presidential candidate John Kerry to help improve its image. Peter Daou and Debra DeShong, both of whom worked for the Massachusetts Democrat in his campaign against President Bush, have taken on new roles with the U.N. Foundation, headed by former CNN mogul Ted Turner. The employment of Kerry aides to "rescue" the U.N. "shows the United Nations is just like the Kerry campaign – it's failing," said Howard Kaloogian, co-chairman of Move America Forward. "As the American...
