<p>A Springfield computer programmer who has run for both he U.S. Congress and Senate as a Democrat and Republican was released Wednesday night from the Los Angeles County jail after being picked up on a Greene County warrant.</p>
<p>Marc Perkel, 46, was arrested Monday by the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division.</p>
