Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, a member of the Fox Corporation Board of Directors, said Tuesday on FNC’s “Your World” that American voters have terrible choices for president in November. Host Neil Cavuto asked, “There is this historic, unprecedented situation that we’re going to have a former president who’s a convicted criminal and we’re going to have a son of a president who’s a convicted criminal. And I’m just wondering what you think of that?” Ryan said, “Yeah, I think in a country with 350 million people, this is the choice we have. I, like the majority of Americans, wish...

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan in an interview Wednesday with the Washington Post bashed former President Donald Trump and “Trump populism,” lamenting that it was now the “establishment.” He said:I am in the minority my party right now. I’m not in the establishment. I’m frankly an anti-establishment Republican. And you, I think you can safely argue — I don’t enjoy acknowledging this — that Trump is the establishment and Trump populism is the establishment and that Trump populism is this more isolationist strain that I think is wrong and dangerous and I don’t support, but that does represent a large...

h4>In the middle of the horrors unfolding throughout the world — horrors supported by Democrats and funded by Barack Obama and Joe Biden — how about some good news? Honestly, does the news get any gooder than that cuck Mitt Romney permanently limping out of public office while limply trying to stop Donald Trump? Better still, this news comes from the Incredible Shrinking Washington Post’s Maeve Reston, a credibly-accused racist who made a project to personally destroy Dr. Ben Carson with lies.Anyway, here’s a clip from today’s episode of Highlander 2: The Cuckening:Alarmed by the dominance of Donald Trump less...

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said Tuesday on “CBS Mornings” that he believed the indictment of former President Donald Trump on federal charges would make him unelectable in 2024. Co-host Gayle King asked, “He’s getting support from a lot of fellow Republicans. Are you one of those going Trump is my guy?” Ryan said, “No, I’ve been a never Trumper for some time. We’re not going to win if we nominate Trump, we’re going to lose. He hasn’t won since 2016. We lost the House in 2018. We lost the presidency in ’20. We lost the Senate. We would...

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan said he is a "never-again Trumper" less than a week after former President Donald Trump announced a third White House run. In his assessment of Republicans' weak performance in the midterm elections, he pointed to what he called the "Trump factor" and highlighted the difference in the performance of Trump-backed candidates versus non-Trump Republicans. "It's pretty clear with Trump we lose. So I don't mean this personally. It's just evidence. We lost the House in '18. We lost the presidency in '20, we lost the Senate in '20, and now, in 2022, we should have...

Who, exactly, was Paul Ryan trying to appeal to when he recently went to the Reagan Library and tried to explain why we should return to the kind of managed decline and failure theater that his rejection marked the end of as a viable Republican leadership strategy? Okay, the Beltway Cowgirl would dig his hep jive, and her soon-to-be-gerrymandered-by-the-Dems stooge Adam Kinzinger too, and the erotically dysfunctional geebos at The Bulwark are all in, but who else? Cue the tumbleweeds. The GOP managed to display some stones for once – no thanks to the aforementioned squish squad – by rejecting the...

The night before the midterm elections, House Speaker Paul Ryan touted “tax reform 2.0,” the economy, and the rebuilding of the United States military as the agenda accomplishments of the Republican-controlled Congress. “Frankly, our members feel pretty good because they have a really good message … I mean look at what we’ve just been able to achieve in Congress with the President in the last two years,” Ryan told Fox News’ Bret Baier. “A record economy, the military being rebuilt, people feeling better about things … wages growing faster than they have since before the recession.” The accomplishments of the...

House Speaker Paul Ryan pleaded with President Trump in a phone call to tout the booming economy rather than continue attacking the migrant caravan in Mexico in the final days before Tuesday’s midterm elections, according to a report on Monday. The Wisconsin Republican reached out to Trump on Sunday and urged him to change his message but the president said his focus on immigration is firing up his supporters, Politico reported. “Trump has hijacked the election,” a senior House Republican aide told Politico about Trump’s attention on immigration. “This is not what we expected the final weeks of the election...

In a major blow to Republican leaders and after a week full of drama and last-minute vote wrangling, the House failed to pass a farm bill Friday, with several Freedom Caucus members voting no in protest to a lack of immediate action on immigration. The bill failed 198-213. House GOP leaders had been touting the bill as a fulfillment of their campaign promise to overhaul welfare programs. The vote also brings the GOP’s intraparty fissures further into public view. Thirty Republicans joined all Democrats in voting it down.

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint says after meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, he believes the president seems very serious when it comes to listening to concerns from conservatives over the new GOP healthcare bill. “He seemed a lot more receptive than the word we had gotten from the House that this was the bill, take it or leave it,” DeMint tells us. DeMint spoke with me Thursday afternoon in DC.

Paul Ryan, the Republican congressman and former vice-presidential candidate best known for his war on spending, is emerging as his party's leading champion of immigration reform in the U.S. House of Representatives. With Senate passage of a sweeping immigration bill imminent, Ryan has been meeting with House conservatives to persuade them that reform of the immigration system, including a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, is an economic necessity and critical to fixing the nation's fiscal problems. Ryan, a potential 2016 presidential contender, sees himself as a "bridge builder" between immigration advocacy groups and reluctant Republicans, he said in an...

Unfortunately, it appears that Paul's views on immigration have now shifted into the pro-amnesty camp. ... Paul says deporting illegal immigrants will require "splitting up families and deporting some who have lived here for decades." ... As for the illegals here for decades, why should we reward them for breaking the law longer than others? Some crimes have a statute of limitation, but unlawful entry into our country does not. According to Paul, deporting such people would be "incompatible with human rights."...So if we can't enforce the law, what does Paul want to do with the 12 million illegal aliens...
