Warner Bros. is developing a movie about Michael Brown's death, according to a Hollywood trade publication. The studio has acquired the rights to the memoir written by Lezley McSpadden, Brown’s mother, according to Tracking Board. The memoir is titled “Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil.”

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio - A viewer sent NewsChannel5 video of the fight that broke out at the Valley View movie theater Friday evening. Police say nearly 200 to 300 juveniles were involved in the brawl, which happened in the lobby. The call came in about 9:30 p.m. at the Cinemark At Valley View And XD located on Canal Road, according to police. Valley View Police Chief Matthew March told NewsChannel5's Michael Baldwin that 10 police departments responded to the scene.

Two have pleaded guilty in the armed robbery of two University of Minnesota students over the summer, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Monday. Demonstrators chanting, "Black lives matter," converged in the Mall of America rotunda Saturday as part of a protest of police brutality that caused at least part of the mall to shut down on a busy day for holiday shoppers.
