U.S. Navy veteran Dario Raschio was all smiles Saturday as he awaited a special honor from U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, who joined him at Portland Community College's Southeast Campus to present the 100-year-old with a handful of medals.
"I feel I'm no hero," said Raschio, dynamic and spry, before the event. "I don't accept it as being a hero. I accept it as being a part of my job."
Shortly after Wyden began speaking, though, protesters erupted in the back of the room, shouting "hands-up, don't shoot!" More than 100 pushed through the doors, banged on the windows from outside and hoisted signs.
Raschio and his daughter, Pam Brown of Portland, had a front-row seat to the spectacle. Raschio's smile faded.
Demonstrators across the country have used "don't shoot" and "hands up" as rallying cries following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, last fall. "I can't breathe" references the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who died in July following a chokehold by a New York City police officer....

I think we should demand WELFARE, to have a work for welfare law....in every state. Physical exam, and if nothing else, pick up trash.

None of them work because they are paid by CPUSA and all of its front groups like ACORN and the 200+ affiliate groups spun out of them. They are also paid by OUR TAXES and all the radical leftist foundations.

We already have such a law but Obozo nullified it with an executive order.

F the protesters. They are a bunch of malcontents and really I could care less about those 2 pillars of society who are no longer with us good riddance to them and hopefully the protesters.
So following Wyden’s ahem “logic,” any person or any group, under the guise of freedom of speech, is allowed to invade any function to demonstrate, disrupt, and rant about their subject at the expense of the people holding the function. Yes, great logic.
If it weren’t for brave men like this member of the Greatest Generation, the lunatic lefties would be saying, “Hande hoct, Nicht schiessen.”
I’m really getting to not like these people.

Obamas plan going forward without a hitch. People think I’m being paranoid but I’m not. Obama has been planning all this for the past year which is why he met with Al Sharpton 85 times. I mean WHY ELSE would he be meeting with him? You want to enflame racial tension you meet with the biggest racial arsonist of them all. This is the kind of POTUS Democrats put into office and it’s so far cost the lives of 2 police officers, who I might add lost their lives 5 days before Christmas.
