  • Obama: Donald Trump’s nomination ‘says something’ about the Republican Party

    07/24/2016 1:33:53 PM PDT · by Innovative · 80 replies
    Washington Post ^ | July 24, 2016 | Amber Phillips
In a taped interview with CBS's John Dickerson that aired Sunday on "Face the Nation," Obama said that fact "says something about what's happened to the Republican Party over the course of the last eight, 10, 15 years." Obama also reiterated what he said in a news conference on Friday: that he doesn't think the dark picture of America that Trump painted in his nomination speech is true, even in the wake of an attack on a Munich mall later that day that killed at least nine people.
  • South China Sea dustup illustrates murky status of waterway (will Ozero start WWIII?)

The South China Sea has been a source of friction for decades with China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Brunei and Vietnam all asserting claims over various sections. The United States and its regional allies fear that China is now trying to establish effective control over parts of the strategic waterway through landfill and construction projects in the Spratly Islands, a group of contested reefs, islets and atolls. On Tuesday, the U.S. sent a Navy warship into the 12-mile territorial zone claimed by China for artificial islands it is building to assert Washington's position that the archipelago lies within international waters...
  • Vatican Disputes White House Guest List for Papal Visit

    Wall Street Journal ^ | September 17, 2015 | Francis X. Rocca
On the eve of Pope Francis’s arrival in the U.S., the Vatican has taken offense at the Obama administration’s decision to invite to the pope’s welcome ceremony transgender activists, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop and an activist nun who leads a group criticized by the Vatican for its silence on abortion and euthanasia. According to a senior Vatican official, the Holy See worries that any photos of the pope with these guests at the White House welcoming ceremony next Wednesday could be interpreted as an endorsement of their activities.
  • LORETTA LYNCH: A QUALIFIED--BUT POLITICAL--CHOICE (Will the GOP have the guts block this nominee?)

    Breitbart ^ | Nov. 9, 2014 | JOEL B. POLLAK
Loretta Lynch, President Barack Obama's choice to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General, would likely sail through confirmation hearings under normal circumstances--i.e. even when Democrats had not gutted the filibuster rule in a cynical act of partisanship, and when the administration had not turned the nation's top law enforcement office into such a politicized and race-obsessed office. She certainly has the right qualifications. Lynch has served twice as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and has a long résumé of high-profile prosecutions. Her most recent headline case has been that of U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY), who...

I was just thinking about how radically America has changed in the past five years. Then I realized what was up. OZero is turning us into the USSR! - Taking state control of every aspect of health care? CHECK! - Nationalizing industry and banks? CHECK! - Complete disregard for rule of law? CHECK! - Rigged elections? CHECK! - State control of the mainstream media? CHECK! - Military purges? CHECK! We might as well have Leonid Brezhnev as our president.

Following the submission of two affidavits at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on October 18, The Post & Email contacted the petitioner, Douglas Vogt, to ask him key questions about his claims that the short-form and long-form birth certificates of Barack Hussein Obama are forgeries and that the identity of the forger and other criminal assistants is known. Vogt is owner of Archive Index Systems, which markets scanners, copiers and document imaging systems. Previous to that, he owned and operated a typesetting business. An accountant by training, Vogt has also worked as a certified public...

The events of this week, combined with the last five years of Obama's so called "phony scandals" and other outrages designed to subvert the rule of law and our freedoms as a whole – all in pursuit of his anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, anti-white, socialist Islamic agenda – are another reminder why the "Muslim in Chief" must be removed from office without further delay. A citizens' grand jury, with yours truly as its people's prosecutor, as you readers know, has not only indicted and convicted Obama for fraud over his lack of eligibility to be president, but also pending are indictments and...
  • NO debt-limit increase. Default (if it comes to that) would be a GOOD thing.

First of all, nobody believes the government does not have enough money to pay down its debt. We would just have to stop doing things like feeding lazy losers. But what if we DID default? What if there was a cash-flow problem that caused FedZilla to miss a bond payment or two? Well, that would be a GOOD thing for us small-government conservatives. FedZilla loses its credit rating and cannot BORROW anymore. What could be better? We should all be WISHING for that!

Seriously, should conservatives even WANT to depose Bashar al-Assad? It is clear that Assad's biggest crime is being Western educated and a strong leader. THAT is what got him in trouble with the Islamofascists and their allies in the White House and the American left. Assad may be brutal, but he is the closest thing we have to a representative of WESTERN civilization in Syria. Shouldn't conservatives be arguing for a political solution that would keep him in power and keep the Islamo-nuts OUT of power?
  • Federal tax rates at lowest level in 30 years (Barf alert!)

    07/11/2012 8:46:35 PM PDT · by GodAndCountryFirst · 13 replies
WASHINGTON -- Americans paid the lowest tax rates in 30 years to the federal government in 2009, partly because of tax cuts President Barack Obama sought to combat the Great Recession, congressional budget analysts said Tuesday. A sharp decline in income -- especially among the wealthiest Americans, who pay the highest tax rates -- also played a role, according to the report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. Household income fell 12 percent on average from 2007 to 2009, with income among the top 1 percent of earners decreasing by more than a third. Still, at the very moment anti-tax...
  • BARF ALERT: Birtherism Will Never, Ever Die (Right conclusion, VERY WRONG reasons!)

    06/10/2012 7:54:51 PM PDT · by GodAndCountryFirst · 13 replies
Despite the complete lack of evidence to support their claims, birthers continue to assert that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya. When will it stop? It won’t. Not ever. Thanks largely to the efforts of Donald Trump, it is abundantly clear that birtherism has survived the release of Obama’s long-form birth certificate roughly 13 months ago. With that out of the way, there is nothing left that can stop it. The birther cause is now destined to join the pantheon of enduring fringe movements like the Flat Earth Society and the folks who insist the moon landings were faked....

Was Ozero born in Hawaii? Probably. I think the reason his birth certificate has been just so hard to locate is because there is other information on it which he would find embarrassing. Likewise all the other documents regarding his education and other activities which have all gone missing or been put in a court ordered lock box. And now Donald Trump has got the mainstream nuts giving his quest for the birth certificate lots of fresh attention, even though the search for the elusive document has been going on for over two years. Really, Donald can't lose. (which means...

As Israel waits for a letter clarifying America's guarantees in exchange for a proposed building ban for Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria, a diplomatic source has come forward saying that no such letter is on its way. United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton misled Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, and contrary to reports, the U.S. does not guarantee an end to the freeze, the source said. The source, a senior diplomat with inside knowledge of Netanyahu's recent meetings in Washington, said Clinton made commitments when talking to Netanyahu, but later slipped out of them by claiming that she had...

JERUSALEM -- Israel insisted Thursday it would keep building homes in disputed east Jerusalem, threatening to hold up a U.S.-proposed settlement construction moratorium designed to renew deadlocked Mideast peacemaking. The contours of the moratorium deal, as presented by Israeli officials after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned from the U.S. last week, had appeared to be clearly agreed upon. Washington, they said, had agreed to exclude the eastern sector of the holy city from the 90-day moratorium and there would be no further demands for construction curbs in the West Bank when the latest moratorium expired. On Thursday, however, a day...

U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday described the fatal shooting of four Israelis in the West Bank as a senseless slaughter that will not stop the U.S. from seeking peace in the Middle East. Obama spoke alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the two met privately at the White House on Wednesday. "I did want to specifically take some time out to speak to the people of Israel and to the region about the senseless slaughter that took place near Hebron yesterday," Obama said. "There are going to be extremists and rejectionists who, rather than seeking peace, are going to...

American support for Israel is waning, a poll presented to senior Israeli officials in Jerusalem last week revealed. The survey was carried out by pollster and strategist Stanley Greenberg and sponsored by the American Jewish organization the Israel Project, which organizes and executes pro-Israel public relations campaigns with a focus on North America. (edit) Greenberg has analyzed the poll results and says that the section of the American public where Israel is most rapidly losing support is among Liberal Americans who align themselves with the Democratic Party. Greenberg's data showed similar findings among public opinion in Germany and Sweden.

United States President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ended their first meeting in the White House Tuesday and faced reporters before heading off for a joint working lunch. Obama was asked if he wanted Netanyahu to extend the ten-month freeze on Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria that is to end in late September. He did not answer, and instead, praised Israel for showing “restraint” on the matter of “settlements,” as the Jewish communities in the biblical heartland are often referred to. This restraint, he said, has created more opportunity for direct talks. Obama said that he hopes...
