WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama says FIFA made the "wrong decision" in awarding the 2022 World Cup to Qatar over the United States. The U.S. Soccer Federation spent millions of dollars on its bid. Former President Bill Clinton was highly involved in the process and participated in the closing presentation.

My 20 year old sent me a link to a website (language in the headline on the site would be censored on FR) but so would the language being read by the President of the United States in the links to his audio book. Is this common knowledge that the President uses x-rated language in his book, it's the first I've heard of it?

Obama is laying the groundwork now for upcoming war against conservative speech. He is also an arrogant quasi-fascist . . . and, apparently, something of a child in a man's body.NY Post: Obama: Quit Listening to Rush Limbaugh if You Want to Get Things Done WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration. (Emphasis added).....While discussing the stimulus package with top lawmakers in the White House's Roosevelt Room, President Obama shot down a critic with...

Obama Says No to the Party of No January 24th, 2009 By ROBERT STEIN Print At the White House yesterday, the President made it clear that his Inaugural message to Muslims “on the wrong side of history”–that “we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist”–applies to Congressional Republicans as well. Responding to Rep. Eric Cantor’s objection to the proposal to increase benefits for low-income workers who don’t owe federal income taxes, Obama reminded him of the November election results. “I won,” he said. “I trump you on that.” He also suggested to Cantor, John Boehner,...

[snip] Obama never directly mentioned Bush's name after the ritual thank you at the beginning of his Inaugural Address, but the context of some of his remarks was lost on no one. He criticized "our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age." He promised to "restore science to its rightful place." He rejected "as false the choice between our safety and our ideals." He assured the rest of the world "that we are ready to lead once more." Some writers, including David Sanger of The New York Times, concluded that it was the...

“So, can you see Wisconsin from your Chicago mansion that Tony Rezko helped you buy?” OK, that was not Katie Couric’s opening question to Pres.-elect Obama in an interview aired in part on this morning’s Early Show. How soft was the Evening News anchor? Downy soft doesn’t begin to describe it. Twice Couric went so far as to help the president-elect answer her own questions. Now that’s the kind of interview a president could get to like! Here was Katie’s actual opening salvo. KATIE COURIC: Are you starting to realize the enormity of your new job? Hard-hitting stuff! And the...
