Wednesday, was severely injured after being mauled by two pit bulls that escaped from a neighbor's yard in West Fairfield, officials said. Anna Walsh, a mail carrier who was working at the time, witnessed the entire incident and saw the dogs leaping and biting the horse's mane, tail and neck. She said the whole thing seemed surreal.
