A British cousin of Barack Obama is suing Scotland Yard over claims colleagues made her life a misery by deliberately breaking wind near her desk. Marie Auma, who related to the US President through her aunt, Kezia Obama, who is his Bracknell, Berkshire-based step-mother, is demanding £400,000 from the Met over claims that she was belittled and humiliated during a two year campaign of harassment.

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives have caught the man responsible for two recent bank robberies in Seminole and Largo. Investigators say they were able to identify 49-year-old Raymond Shaeffer as the robber from fingerprints found on a demand note used in the Seminole bank robbery. After fleeing the Cornerstone Bank in Seminole on Jan. 4, Shaeffer dumped the orange jacket and baseball cap he wore in the dumpster behind the Treasure Island Fun Center near the bank.
