Two IRS whistleblowers leveled serious allegations about Hunter Biden and the government’s investigation of the troubled first son, according to transcripts of testimony released this week. The whistleblowers, IRS supervisory criminal investigator Gary Shapley and a second unnamed IRS investigator, provided evidence to the House Ways and Means Committee that top Justice Department officials stonewalled an investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes and foreign business ventures. They also call into question President Biden’s repeated denials that he has no knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Here are 16 of the biggest revelations from transcripts of their interviews: Hunter linked dad to...

The Long Beach, California-based company lodged the filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking a sale of its assets after announcing the layoff of roughly 85% of its 750 employees last week. “At this stage, we believe that the Chapter 11 process represents the best path forward ... Attorney General Merrick Garland’s decision to appoint Jack Smith as a special counsel to investigate President Trump’s handling of government documents at Mar-a-Lago as well as January 6 needs to be thoroughly investigated and countered by the incoming GOP House of Representatives. They must study if this rogue Attorney General has committed impeachable offenses and, if so, act quickly to impeach him. President Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s loss of a 100% Democrat-controlled January 6th Committee to Republicans now has all the makings of a Constitutional crisis. Rather than accepting that the other party is now in charge and...

Life, Liberty, and Levin host Mark Levin illustrated in the opening monologue of his Sunday broadcast that former President Trump has been hypocritically targeted by a corrupt system. "How is it that Hillary Clinton is still walking on the earth free? She should be getting 50 life consecutive sentences for her violations of the Espionage Act," Levin asked. "How is Jim Comey still walking on the face of the earth free?" He recounted the former secretary of state's email scandal that plagued her failed 2016 presidential campaign. "We know Hillary had a server in her home to gather information, including...

In collaboration with Deloitte The COVID-19 crisis has exposed an enduring silent epidemic and greatly accelerated the need for a properly funded and regulated global mental health ecosystem. Disruptive technologies – such as artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), digital reality (DR), blockchain and the cloud – offer a tremendous opportunity to improve global mental health systems, making them more affordable and more easily scaled, particularly in countries where people lack adequate access to such services. Yet as well as offering breakthrough solutions, these technologies also have the potential for misuse and mistreatment. The primary purpose of this toolkit is...
  • Now that Elizabeth Warren has pulled out, what can we expect?

At long last, on Thursday, Elizabeth Warren withdrew from the Democrat primary. Her withdrawal creates clarity because Bernie the Red and Bad Touch Biden are the last candidates standing. (And no, nobody takes Tulsi seriously as a potential candidate.) Thanks to Biden’s momentum on Super Tuesday, political watchers assume that the Democrat establishment successfully squashed Bernie’s candidacy and that it will be smooth sailing for Biden. Things may not be that simple, though.

My new-to-us lab mix has very discerning senses, spits out chewable meds even when given with his snacks. We have not had him a month yet and from the first he would take his food into the next room to look it over. Previous owners must have drugged him a lot. Quite sure pill pockets won't work and he us not crazy for peanut butter. Any ideas? Hope he never gets sick cause dosing him will be impossible.

The Home Secretary admitted yesterday that the Government had made mistakes in its handling of immigration and had overreacted to the 7/7 bombings in London. In his first speech on the subject, Alan Johnson said that ministers had ignored immigration problems and the growing pressure on jobs and services in parts of Britain. Some communities had legitimate concerns because they had been particularly affected. (snip) Mr Johnson is the first Labour Home Secretary to admit mistakes on immigration. He said his predecessors had not addressed problems that led to huge backlogs of asylum seekers and foreign national prisoners. It emerged...

The Democrat-controlled Legislature taught California's new Republican governor Friday night that in politics there isn't always a Hollywood ending. The good guy doesn't always get to blow into town, win the fight and save the state. After a week of campaign-style stumping up and down California, with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger rallying supporters to pressure the Legislature to place his $15 billion bond and spending cap on the March ballot, the movie-star-turned-governor was handed his first political setback. Struggling to beat a Friday night election deadline to place the measures on the ballot, Democrat and Republican lawmakers could not agree on...
