CV NEWS FEED // The National Abortion Federation (NAF) has been forced to cut the monthly budget of its hotline in half because funding to directly finance abortions has declined since 2023, according to the nonprofit organization’s CEO, Brittany Fonteno. Fonteno told Bloomberg journalist Kelsey Butler in a June 26 article that there is “less support and less funding,” despite NAF working with a higher number of women seeking abortions. Fonteno’s comments about the decline in abortion funding come amid the Democratic National Committee’s recent pledge to spend over $8 million towards getting pro-abortion candidates elected. SAN FRANCISCO, September 5, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – As the preliminary hearing for charges against pro-life investigators David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt continues, Twitter temporarily barred the pro-life Center for Medical Progress (CMP) from live-tweeting the proceedings – based on a misrepresentation of the tweets from Planned Parenthood’s attorneys, CMP claims. CMP has been locked in legal battles with Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation (NAF) since the summer of 2015, when their undercover videos revealed abortion industry insiders expressing interest in profiting off organs from aborted babies, which is illegal. The abortion groups accuse the pro-life investigators of breaking...

A court has dropped some of the bogus charges against pro-life advocate David Daleiden, who exposed the sales of body parts from aborted babies at Planned Parenthood abortion clinics and throughout the abortion industry. The National Abortion Federation (NAF) dismissed seven out of eleven claims on Friday against Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), in court on Friday. In 2015, NAF sued David and CMP after they began releasing undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s trafficking of baby body parts. Buying and selling fetal tissue is illegal under federal law.

The ten arrested Russian spies have arrived in Vienna, and shortly will be back in Moscow. Sentenced last night in New York, they gave their real Russian names, pleaded guilty, and were sentenced to time served — a few short days. Never has a spy swap been orchestrated so quickly. In the era of the Cold War, there were plenty of swaps. The most famous was that of KGB Colonel Rudolf Abel for the U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers in 1962. Abel was the name he adopted, when he lived in Greenwich Village and Brooklyn, and posed as an artist....

passport NEW YORK – A Soros-funded group arguing to replace the U.S. passport with a North American passport appears ready to take up the mantle of championing the concept of a European Union-style regional government to supersede the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico and Canada, fulfilling the dream of the late American University professor Robert Pastor. The future of the U.S. lies in North America, not in the United States as a sovereign nation, contends the New America Foundation, a Washington-based leftist think-tank with ties to Jonathan Soros, son of famed leftist billionaire George Soros.

CMP is in court today at the federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco to overturn the district judge's gag order against the release of our undercover footage of Planned Parenthood from the National Abortion Federation's annual meetings. You can watch our argument against this incredible attack on the First Amendment LIVE here: https://www.youtube.com/user/9thcirc NAF is the major trade organization of abortion providers in North America, and Planned Parenthood makes up about half of it. David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress still have dozens of hours of the most damning and incriminating undercover footage left to...

Last week, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) in a discovery dispute with the National Abortion Federation. CMP is the group of citizen journalists responsible for producing the undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of selling baby parts. This decision may end up being a costly one for CMP because it allows the National Abortion Federation to attempt to bury the group with discovery requests. Discovery is a pre-trial procedure in which parties can seek to obtain evidence for their case. The National Abortion Federation filed a federal lawsuit in California in...

SAN FRANCISCO – An association of abortion providers is asking a court to block the release of recordings they say were made by an anti-abortion group that has previously revealed several surreptitiously recorded videos of a Planned Parenthood leader discussing the sale of aborted fetuses for research. The National Abortion Federation filed a lawsuit Friday in San Francisco, seeking a temporary restraining order against the Center for Medical Progress. The lawsuit says the center's representatives recorded federation members at their annual meetings with the goal of smearing those who support abortion rights. The federation says it members will be further...

NBC News is reporting that white people are the "biggest terror threat in the U.S." citing a study. Oddly, despite the headline, "White Americans Are Biggest Terror Threat in U.S.: Study," in the text of their quick article, NBC, does not actually say that white people are the biggest terror threat. Instead, NBC's article reads, "The New America Foundation found that twice as many people have died in attacks by right-wing groups in America than by Muslim extremists since 9/11." ...Besides the obvious problems with NBC's clickbait headline, there other tremendous problems with the "study." First, it specifically excludes September...

WASHINGTON — In the 14 years since Al Qaeda carried out attacks on New York and the Pentagon, extremists have regularly executed smaller lethal assaults in the United States, explaining their motives in online manifestoes or social media rants. But the breakdown of extremist ideologies behind those attacks may come as a surprise. Since Sept. 11, 2001, nearly twice as many people have been killed by white supremacists, antigovernment fanatics and other non-Muslim extremists than by radical Muslims: 48 have been killed by extremists who are not Muslim, compared with 26 by self-proclaimed jihadists, according to a count by New...

LAWRENCE B. WILKERSON served as chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin L. Powell from 2002 to 2005. IN PRESIDENT BUSH'S first term, some of the most important decisions about U.S. national security — including vital decisions about postwar Iraq — were made by a secretive, little-known cabal. It was made up of a very small group of people led by Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. When I first discussed this group in a speech last week at the New American Foundation in Washington, my comments caused a significant stir because I had been chief...

A top Democrat strategist and donor who served as President Obama’s lead auto-industry adviser recently conceded that the rationing of heath services under Obamacare is “inevitable.” Steven Rattner advocated that such rationing should target elderly patients, while stating, “We need death panels.” Rattner serves on the board the New America Foundation, or NAF, a George Soros-funded think tank that was instrumental in supporting Obamacare in 2010. Soros’ son, financier Jonathan Soros, is also a member of the foundation’s board. Rattner was the so-called “car czar,” the lead auto adviser to the Treasury Department under Obama. Last month, Rattner penned an...

PHILADELPHIA, May 15, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The day a Philadelphia jury convicted Kermit Gosnell of first-degree murder for severing the spines of newborn babies, USA Today published an op-ed by the CEO of an abortion advocacy organization that failed to report his “house of horrors” to the authorities. Vicki Saporta, CEO of National Abortion Federation (NAF), instead blamed Gosnell's unsanitary clinic and lack of medical ethics on the pro-life movement. Vicki Saporta, right, with Kermit Gosnell Vicki Saporta, right, with Kermit Gosnell In Monday's op-ed, Saporta wrote, “This stigma around abortion — combined with unnecessary restrictions on women's access to...

It was recently observed that Ron Paul was to the left of Obama on national security and the best evidence for that statement can be found when one year ago Ron Paul joined forces with Barney Frank on a proposal to gut national defense via a panel of experts, quite a few of whom were tied to George Soros. In July 2010, Barney Frank and Ron Paul co-authored a Huffington Post article rolling out their Sustainable Defense Task Force. The Task Force “consisting of experts on military expenditures that span the ideological spectrum” would recommend a trillion dollars in defense...

A closed-door meeting of high-level government and business leaders that discussed the merger of North America was designed to subvert the democratic process, charged an attendee of the confab in Banff, Canada. Mel Hurtig, a noted Canadian author and publisher who was the elected leader of the National Party of Canada, provided WND the agenda and attendee list of the North American Forum at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, Sept. 12-14. Hurtig said the "secret meeting was designed to undermine the democratic process." "What is sinister about this meeting is that it involved high level government officials...
