SAN FRANCISCO – An association of abortion providers is asking a court to block the release of recordings they say were made by an anti-abortion group that has previously revealed several surreptitiously recorded videos of a Planned Parenthood leader discussing the sale of aborted fetuses for research.
The National Abortion Federation filed a lawsuit Friday in San Francisco, seeking a temporary restraining order against the Center for Medical Progress.
The lawsuit says the center's representatives recorded federation members at their annual meetings with the goal of smearing those who support abortion rights.
The federation says it members will be further endangered if the recordings are released.
An email to a leader of the Center for Medical Progress and a call to a public relations firm that has previously helped reach him weren't immediately returned.

Once again, the bad guys call it “smearing” to show the world who they really are and what they really think.
The same judges that let the gay groups open every record for the whole world to see will now sit there and rule these stingers have violated some privacy principle.
Endangered by what? The truth?
In the end donors to Prop 8 were not able to keep their names private and a judge better not let association members keep themselves out of the public arena.

I can’t think of anything more just than those butcher’s being further endangered: literally laughing while picking through the pieces of babies they murdered.
