The US Senate on Thursday voted to advance Emil Bove’s confirmation to the Florida-based Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Toxin RINOs Murkowski (Alaska) and Collins (Maine) voted against invoking cloture. Collins said on MSNBC on Tuesday that Emil Bove “would not serve as an impartial jurist” based on his work to ferret out corrupt prosecutors while serving as acting Deputy Attorney General. The Senate broke the filibuster so they will have 30 hours of debate. Emil Bove can be confirmed as soon as Monday.

The Democrat and RINO effort to blow up Trump’s global tariffs suffered an embarrassing failure in the Senate this evening after two senators failed to vote. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Senator Rand Paul (RINO-KY) had sponsored a resolution that would have terminated ALL of Trump’s tariffs, including those on America’s top adversary, China. The vote deadlocked 49-49, meaning it failed by one vote. But there were three Republicans who voted to stab Trump in the back and end the global tariffs: Rand Paul of Kentucky Susan Collins of Maine Lisa Murkowski of Alaska Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Senator...

Sen. Lisa Murkowski delivered a scorching rebuke Saturday of President Donald Trump’s explosive exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a rare voice of Republican dissent as party members lined up in support of the president’s increasingly combative relationship with Ukraine. “I am sick to my stomach as the administration appears to be walking away from our allies and embracing Putin, a threat to democracy and U.S. values around the world,” the Alaskan wrote in a Saturday afternoon post to X.

Establishment Republican senators believe President Donald Trump is saving taxpayer money “too fast” while “rashly” purging rogue and corrupt bureaucrats. The senators requested Trump slow down on fulfilling his campaign promises of cutting waste, fraud, and abuse, as well as gutting the “deep state.” The administration is moving “too fast,” Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) told Axios about Trump’s campaign promises. Collins, an ally of Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), claimed the president is “making mistakes” and would be happy with “a more surgical approach” that does not “violate restrictions that are in current law.” “Before making cuts rashly, the administration should...

Sen. Lisa Murkowski issued a joint statement with the Danish member of parliament who holds two seats representing Greenland, emphasizing that the United States should view the icy landmass as a “an ally” rather than “an asset.” “The appeal of Greenland is easy to understand. It is strategically located for defense, shipping, and more. It is also a storehouse for all sorts of minerals, the building blocks of society that will determine who leads—and controls—the industries of the future,” the statement began. “Of course, a businessman turned president would be interested. But Greenland is not for sale. The question has...

Senator Susan Collins (RINO-ME) may derail Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation as Director of National Intelligence. Trump’s DNI nominee Tulsi Gabbard is set to appear in front of the Senate Intel Committee on January 30 for a hearing. Gabbard cannot have even one defector on the Senate Intel Committee since the vote is split along partly line 9-8. Senator Collins, a member of the very powerful Senate Intel Committee, told The Hill that she has many concerns about Tulsi Gabbard’s stance on Section 702 of the FISA which gives government permission to spy on ‘foreign’ targets without a warrant.

WASHINGTON—Two centrist Republican senators said they opposed the nomination of President Trump’s defense-secretary pick, Pete Hegseth, injecting new drama into what was expected to be a nail-biter of a vote Friday. In a statement Thursday, Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said Hegseth’s “nomination to the role poses significant concerns that I cannot overlook,” pointing to worries about his character and his lack of experience running large organizations, as well as his past opposition to women serving in combat roles in the military. “I cannot in good conscience support his nomination,” she said. Sen. Susan Collins (R., Maine) followed with...

Monday marked a significant point in U.S. history, with President Donald Trump staging a triumphant return to the White House and following his inauguration with a slew of executive actions aimed at furthering his MAGA mission. One issue he had been discussing at length in recent weeks involved renaming the Gulf of Mexico, and an announcement on the first day of his second term confirmed that he was already in the process of ordering its named changed to the Gulf of America. Another natural feature, the nation’s tallest mountain, was also included in the statement, as Fox News reported: The...
