Agreements with FEC call for payments of $105,000, $8,000 We now know that the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign for president in 2016 misled the federal government about funding that infamous and thoroughly debunked "Steele dossier" that made wild and unsubstantiated allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump. It's because they've agreed to pay fines of $105,000, and $8,000, respectively, for those actions that broke federal law.

Hunter Biden spent several thousand dollars at a Manhattan strip club during a pair of visits — including one that sent a staffer scrambling to buy a sex toy so strippers could use it on him, sources told The Post on Wednesday. Biden — who’s been dogged by a series of strip-club allegations uncovered by The Post this week — was accompanied by a woman both times he went to Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club NYC in Hell’s Kitchen about a year ago, the sources said. On each occasion, he and his companion holed up in a private room, where they...

Obviously, the "main stream" media are hard of hearing and seeing. About 2 million mad-as-hell taxpayers assembling in Washington, D.C. for the largest-ever (most well-behaved ever, most respectful ever) protest did not make it onto their radar screens (or our TV screens). They need our help. Maybe we cannot repeat an assembly of 2 million mad-as-hell taxpaying patriots in one place, but surely those who longed to go and couldn't would love to be a part of Operation "Can You Hear Us Now?" I'll bet for every one patriot who went to D.C. there are 10-20 more who wished they...

As was the case with Obama’s US Attorney General Eric Holder reversing the conviction for overt voter intimidation by New Black Panthers—who supported Barack Obama in his presidential run—the logical question is “Will Obama’s Department of Justice block any and all investigations of ACORN?” Both ACORN and the New Black Panthers worked almost tirelessly to “elect” Obama—by any means necessary

Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) leaders are using the threat of a law suit to silence and intimidate critics, according to current and former members of the liberal activist group. In a letter dated June 11 an attorney for ACORN advised top whistleblowers that their unauthorized use of the organization’s name could make them liable for monetary damages and injunctive relief. ACORN executives have also changed their organization’s name, which was tarnished by investigations in at least 14 states of allegations of voter registration fraud during the 2008 presidential campaign, and charges by current and former members...

For the third time is less than 6 days, a video showing ACORN workers giving advice to a pimp and a prostitute was released by the good folks over at BigGovernment.com. This video features New York City ACORN workers giving advice on how to hide prostitution profits in a tin can buried in the back yard, how to lie when applying for a housing loan and ways to shelter the money for tax purposes. The number of hits on Google search at 4pm this afternoon? 58. Some of the news sites that covered the story? * Fox News * The...

The Senate has voted overwhelmingly to strip ACORN of funding in the Transportation/Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill. After ACORN workers were caught on tape in three cities allegedly abetting what they believed was a fraudulent mortgage and sex-trafficking scheme, only seven senators were willing to stand by them:

Here is video of Glenn Beck "On the Record" last night with Greta Van Susteren where he told her he will show new ACORN video later today that will "absolutely peel the skin off your face." Beck said "you haven't seen anything until you see the video that will come out tomorrow." Beck says this at the 3:42 remaining mark of the video. He talked with Greta about what has come out so far regarding ACORN, and made the point that SEIU (Service Employees International Union) is a sister organization of ACORN. Beck said these two organizations "surround the President...

This is a story we’ve largely missed. While Obama’s Acorn connection has not gone entirely unreported, its depth, extent, and significance have been poorly understood. Typically, media background pieces note that, on behalf of Acorn, Obama and a team of Chicago attorneys won a 1995 suit forcing the state of Illinois to implement the federal “motor-voter” bill. In fact, Obama’s Acorn connection is far more extensive. In the few stories where Obama’s role as an Acorn “leadership trainer” is noted, or his seats on the boards of foundations that may have supported Acorn are discussed, there is little follow-up. Even...

What was virtually improbable a week ago, the Senate voted 83 - 7 to add an amendment to H.R.3288 (Title: Making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies)that would cut funding to ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

Entrapment n. In criminal law, the act of law enforcement officers or government agents inducing or encouraging a person to commit a crime when the potential criminal expresses a desire not to go ahead. The key to entrapment is whether the idea for the commission or encouragement of the criminal act originated with the police or government agents instead of with the "criminal. It's turning into quite the morning for NBCers to defend the left on Morning Joe . . . First, Chuck Todd flatly rejected the notion that the MSM failed to adequately report on Van Jones, suggesting coverage...

There was another thread posted earlier referencing a statement from Senator Casey’s office regarding his vote not to eliminate federal funding for Acorn. The post stated the following: “ACORN has never received any federal money” and “as a non-profit is not permitted to be involved in political activities.” In addition, because of the aforementioned, the amendment was frivolous and not worthy of the Senator’s time. I was not aware of how funds actually flowed to Acorn, but if you look at their website this is what they state: Does ACORN Recieve Federal Funding? The Association of Community Organizations for Reform...

KOFI ANNAN'S SILENCE. Blame Game by Claudia Rosett On February 3, the United Nations-authorized inquiry into the Oil-for-Food scandal, led by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, issued its first interim report. Volcker's most lurid finding so far is that Saddam Hussein, at the behest of Oil-for-Food Programme Executive Director Benon Sevan, allocated lucrative oil sales to a Panama-based company. This, concluded Volcker, constituted "a grave and continuing conflict of interest" on Sevan's part and a violation of the U.N. charter. Investigators are now pondering Volcker's disclosure that Sevan's aunt, while living on a government pension in Cyprus, sent Sevan...
