State Prosecutor Adnan Addoum on Thursday referred to the Military Tribunal three detainees suspected of forming an Al-Qaeda cell in Lebanon. The suspects included two Lebanese: Mohammed Sultan, also known as Abu Hamdi, and Khaled Minawi, also known as Abu Talha. The third is a Saudi national named Ihab Dafaa, also known as Abu Hareth. Three alleged supporters of Al-Qaeda were planning to set up a cell in Lebanon for members of the organization seeking to re-group, according to State Prosecutor Adnan Addoum. Addoum said Wednesday that the three, Saudi national Ihab Dafaa and Lebanese Khaled Minawi and Mohammed Sultan, had been transferred to the judiciary from military intelligence.
